Our piece of paradise is situated on the edge of the water in the Athenree Village (north end of the Tauranga harbour). The modern upstairs apartment is yours exclusively. From here you can: watch the sunrise over the water; enjoy the ever-changing view of the tide; watch the varied and rich bird life; or relax while reading or playing games from our library. Feel more energetic? Walk to the surf beach; visit the hot pools or take a walk on the water edge. We follow AirBnB cleaning protocols.

The North End Studio

The North End Studio is a purpose built studio unit, with a separate entrance along a private boardwalk. Well thought out and with some homely touches it has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. The kitchenette is equipped with a 2 burner induction cooktop, microwave, grill press and BBQ, perfect for self catering. The studio has extensive wrap around decking for al fresco dining, surrounded by beautiful native gardens, perfect for that relaxing afternoon drink.

The Blue Bach

The Bach is light, modern, comfortable, within walking distance of beach and village. Sit on the deck and watch the sun go down over the hills, stroll a few hundred metres to the golden sand beach, or across the common to the village for coffee and shopping. There is unlimited fibre internet, ducted air conditioning and heating, and linen and bath-towels are provided. Please bring your own beach-towels. Maximum occupancy is 4 guest. No smoking, camping, or events.

Train stay with epic river views and outdoor baths

Unplug and unwind: Peaceful nights and outdoor adventure await. Perched above the breath-taking Karangahake Gorge, this retreat includes a restored train carriage, cosy cabin and twin outdoor baths. It is an entire self contained Studio, with its own entrance, private courtyard and off street parking. Centrally located, it is a short 5 minute walk to the Beach, Restaurants, Bars, and the quaint and quirky Waihi Beach Village.

We have created a newly built modern dwelling that is centrally located to the village and our lovely Beach and several great walking tracks. Orokawa and the Trig walk are within close vicinity as are several local cafes and restaurants. This gem is a perfect getaway for a couple’s retreat.
