The Beara Bus....with Awesome Views

The Beara Bus is a unique living space situated on the coastline with stunning views across the Atlantic to the Sheeps Head and Mizen Head Peninsulas and Bere Island. The entrance to the harbour of Castletownbere ( Irelands second largest fishing port) can be seen with the daily coming and goings of the fishing fleet. In the waters below the Bus basking shark, minke whale and dolphins are frequent visitors. The sun rising up over Sheeps Head Peninsula can make for an unforgettable breakfast !

Alpaca Lodge with stunning views and alpacas

The Alpaca Lodge is a free standing stone building next to our farmhouse in a rural location (16km from Kenmare), surrounded by our herd of friendly free-roaming alpacas and llamas, with stunning views of Kenmare Bay. It has a cozy bedroom with a king-size bed, a small seating area and en-suite bathroom. Cereal, milk, porridge, orange juice, snack bars and biscuits are provided in the room, and there is a kettle, microwave, toaster and a small fridge, tea & coffee, cutlery & plates . AGE 12+

Shamrock Reeks Apartment is a new bright modern recently decorated space set in the Black Valley at the foot of McGuillycuddys Reeks.The Kerry Way walking route passes our door. It is an ideal location for people who love to explore the outdoors with several walks including The Gap Of Dunloe , Upper Lake of Killarney, Purple Mountains, The Kerry way and the Black Valley all accessibly from the apartment.It is situated on our farm together with Shamrock Farmhouse and Shamrock Cottage.

The world famous Kate Kearney’s Cottage, the Heather restaurant, and the 5 star Dunloe hotel are a short drive away.

We are situated on the Beara Peninsula, just up the road from Helen's Bar in Kilmackilogue. Our Shepherds Hut called The Bothy, overlooks the sea, and is three minutes walk to the beach. Enjoy nature at its best with views of Kenmare Bay and its surrounding mountains. It is a hikers paradise, lying just off 'The Beara Way' . Cyclists will also be in their element with The Healy Pass a few kilometres away. Kenmare is half an hour away with wonderful shops and restaurants.

This picturesque cottage is located on a traditional Irish farm with stunning views of the McGillycuddy Reeks. It is only 2 miles from Killorglin town, home of the annual Puck Fair festival. Serving as an ideal base for exploring the famous Ring of Kerry, the Wild Atlantic Way, it is only 20 km from the beautiful town of Killarney or the blue flag beach at Rossbeigh. Suitable for nature-lovers, climbers, artists, families and those who want to escape from it all.

The garden is facing the mountains with a southern aspect so is also a perfect place to simply relax, unwind and soak up the peaceful scenic surroundings .
