Fabulous hut in a glorious location. It has everything we needed and was beautifully clean. The host was extremely helpful and answered so quickly any questions. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Magical place! The setting is so beautiful, the huts wonderfully decorated, and with every thought given to comfort. My kids LOVED the stay, especially the chill out gazebos, and the fairy woods - truly a magical place! Communication was great, and Jenny really is a perfect host. We'll definitely be back!

My partner, our dog and I had a wonderful 3 nights at Graham and Pip's Shephard huts. The views were spectacular and exactly what we were expecting from the listing! The bedroom was extremely cosy, especially when we had the log burner going and we were sat reading our books drinking tea. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a delicious loaf of homemade bread, and the bathroom was super clean; the shower was a real warm treat after a day of walking in the rain! There are some lovely walks accessible from the huts, if you don't want to travel too far out. Also, I promise that if you weren't a fan of bird watching (or listening) before, you definitely will be after your stay! Thank you Pip and Graham for providing us with the perfect retreat to nature we both strongly craved to escape the stressful 9-5 working life. We would 100% recommend to anyone wanting to switch off from their phones, and connect a bit more with the nature around us.

We loved our stay at Katie & Anna’s Shepherds hut. The orchard was lovely to sit in during the light evenings & the hut was clean and cosy.

We had the loveliest stay at Sally’s Shepard’s hut. It’s so peaceful and quiet, with a lovely view over the countryside fields, there’s lots of lovely walks, pubs and cafes nearby, but it’s also the perfect place to relax. The hut has everything you need, (and more!) and was so cosy even in rainy February. Sally and her partner were so accommodating and helpful (even coming to help when we stupidly got our car stuck in mud!!!). We cannot recommend this place more highly :)

I absolutely LOVED this place, immediately regretted not booking another night & I’ve already booked another stay! After walking in the Downs, and along the River Ouse, I had a lovely afternoon exploring the quirky shops, the Flea Market, and a good few pubs in Lewes! Feeling happy-tired after all the walking (& a hefty pub lunch), I arrived at Michelle’s & found myself in utter peaceful bliss - the perfect place to relax & unwind. Loving it so, I quickly abandoned all plans of walking to The Five Bells. Instead, I got the enormous firepit ablaze & spent the rest of my night warming myself in front of the flames, with a bottle of Fizz, simply enjoying the sound of the bleeting sheep. With plenty of wood provided to burn well into the wee hours, I later found myself being serenaded by a hooting owl. Heaven! I eventually dragged myself to the comfiest bed imaginable & had the best night’s sleep. As if things couldn’t get better, I awoke on Easter Sunday to my very own lambs!! Perfection!

We had a wonderful few days stay at the shepherd's hut. The hut is so beautifully and thoughtfully designed, and super well equipped with everything you could need! It was so cosy, a perfect little respite. Would highly recommend! Thanks for everything!

We had a fantastic few days staying in Emma and David’s hut Daisy. It was so peaceful amongst the Christmas trees and was a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of London. Emma and David are absolutely lovely and are great hosts. I would definitely recommend staying in Daisy.

We loved our stay at Liz’s place. The accommodation was beautiful, full of lots of lovely little touches to show Liz cares about your experience. We had a really comfortable and peaceful stay. As for the setting, it’s spectacular. Stunning views of the surrounding countryside from both the hut and the hot tub. Highly recommended.

A lovely, well equipped shepherd's hut. the bed was comfy and plenty warm enough. the kitchen was well stocked with utensils plates etc. it was lovely being next to the field of sheep, waking up to them in the morning, they were fun to watch. the host also has pigs and chickens. the outdoor shower was fun and we had plentiful wood for the log burner, fire pit and coals for the BBQ. lovely walks with a footpath going straight past and the lakes to enjoy various activities. the hosts had provided eggs milk, tea and coffee which was a nice touch. thanks for a lovely stay ☺️

Fab little one night stay for exploring surrounding countryside and coast. Particularly loved the 10 min walk through fields to the pub!

We had a lovely stay. It was so peaceful and beautiful surroundings. The hut was very comfortable and well equipped. Host Tom was so helpful and easy to get hold of when needed.

Absolutely beautiful so peaceful and shepherds hut was gorgeous only thing I would say is a shelf in bathroom to put your bits would be ideal and maybe a hook in bathroom to hang clothes/towel But we loved it and will definitely go back and recommend Julie is so lovely and friendly honestly perfect The sun pub just up the road is lovely and very welcoming Highly recommend The Shaggy Sheep hut thank you

Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Aussicht war atemberaubend, und das Hut war super gemütlich und bestens ausgestattet. Besonders gefreut haben wir uns über die kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten wie Marshmallows und Snacks. Die Feuerstelle fanden wir genial – abends ein Feuer zu machen und dabei den Sonnenuntergang zu genießen, war einfach unvergesslich. Außerdem bekamen wir jederzeit Nachschub an Holz, das haben wir sehr geschätzt. Jackie und Johnny waren tolle Gastgeber: Sie boten uns sogar an, unsere Handtücher, die wegen der Wetterbedingungen schlecht trockneten, in ihrem Trockner zu trocknen – ein wirklich großartiger Service. Auch ihre Empfehlungen für die Umgebung haben wir sehr geschätzt. Johnny ermutigte uns, surfen zu gehen, und wir haben es keine Sekunde bereut. Alles in allem ein wunderschönes Hut mit fantastischen Gastgebern – wir können es absolut weiterempfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.

First, the town of Kendal and the surrounding country side are the reason why the English language has the words quaint, picturesque, and sublime. A picture perfect setting that surely inspired the aesthetics for the Teletubbies and iconic Windows XP background. On to the tiny mansion: Clean, craftsman like quality, and thoughtfully designed. You’ve never fully understood “less is more” until you’ve cooked dinner, played scrabble, and watched the sunset over the rolling green hills of rural England until you’ve spent a night at this AirBnB. Meet the Dalai Lama, be blessed by the Pope, but you can never attain the same tranquility as is possible when imbibing in the sheep and tranquility filled respite that is this AirBnB. Cheers and can recommend a full 10/10. (written by my American boyfriend, who travelled through the UK for the first time)

The place Meleri and family have created is beautiful! The hut is in a perfect location, very peaceful and with loads of room for our dog to enjoy. It was spotlessly clean with all the basics that we needed for the stay provided (towels, soap, toilet roll etc). The little welcome box was a lovely touch with some incredible Welsh cakes in there! Great communication throughout, would definitely recommend to anyone. Would 100% return!

What a wonderful little escape not far from home. We loved every single second and cannot wait to come back! Hosts were brilliant and quickly responded to any queries I had. Highly recommend to anyone looking to escape realist for a few days.

A peaceful retreat surrounded by beautiful fields and countryside, we were lucky enough to have beautiful weather so spent most of our trip sat on the decking enjoying the views and listening to the birds, but even if the weather isn’t so great the view from the sofa was amazing and you can get cosy by the fire. The location is fantastic and can get to lots of beaches easily. Carolyn and her husband are great, very friendly and we even had a issue with one of our tyres and they helped us get it sorted before we left. 100% recommend staying here and would definitely book again in the future!

Really enjoyed our stay here, easy to find, beautiful scenery, the hut was in great condition and was cosy. Outdoor amenities were desired when choosing our location and the ones available here were in great condition & instructions on how to use them were very clear. Would highly recommend.
