Originally built in the early 1900's, the house was dilapidated and not fit for habitation. It was out of passion to restore the building that Muda Blue came about. As the house is protected by the UNESCO World Heritage Site inscription, its structure and facade had to be maintained, which we were happy to do. We believe in the power of cozy memories, and we sincerely hope our guests feel that warmth here. ❤️ We’ve equipped the property with Amway water filter for clean drinking water and Netflix available. Each room includes a hair dryer. Besides, we do provide iron, kettle, rice cooker, refrigerator, and cooking stove for your convenience.

Welcome! Alvin lives on the ground floor, he co-owns NarrowMarrow cafe. Trained in architecture and is active in the music scene. Walk out and into the best cafes and mural art, popular hawkers and heritage sites. The unit is very spacious as it takes up the entire floor with its own private kitchenette, dinning space and bathroom. This entire floor is fitted with pre loved curiosities, found in the vicinity of penang. Please take notice it’s on the first floor with no lift.
