Loved the location. Very peaceful. The multiple balconies and outdoor space around the property was perfect.

I hesitantly write about how awesome this place is cause I don't want it to get overbooked. lol This was a break from reality weekend trip and it did not disappoint. We cooked out, lounged around and enjoyed the hot tub. You have privacy, all the amenities and very responsive hosts. I highly recommend this place and we cant wait to go back.

Oh my gosh - well there are not enough good things to say about this place. It sits on a peaceful River up on stilts - you can see the beautiful scenery for miles . The house itself is modern/roomy/light and airy /pristine in its cleanliness/beautiful simple decor that compliments the entire house . Filled with amenities and small attention to detail that was so lovely and appreciated . There are several little balconies on the house /an outdoor screened-in dining area that’s perfect to watch the river . There is a good restaurant at the end of the street . The whole place was just fantastic !!

Catawba River Cottage is a beautifully decorated, very clean home with well-thought out amenities. Best of all, it has a peaceful view right on the Catawba River. We loved that the home has plenty of outdoor seating spaces for enjoying the views. We especially enjoyed sitting on the dock. We would definitely return in the future.

The cabin is set back from the road shrouded by trees. If you're expecting hotel grade interested, start at a hotel. If you want peace and quiet and close proximity to trails and scenic views, this is a great base camp. We didn't get to use the fire pit due to rain, but we made good use of the cabin.

This cozy cottage is perfect for any getaway! Just a drive away to popular towns or a perfect place to just relax, listen to the breeze and enjoy the porches!

Alisa’s place was exactly what we expected. The house was well equipped and very clean. The location is great if you like hiking or want to be close to a boat launch. The drive to town is not far and you can find any shopping or food you wish. I would stay here again without hesitation. Thanks for being a great host and sharing your house.
