We had a great time at Deniz’s place. Its look and feel were exactly how we expected - roomy, artsy, and homey. We had a very smooth check in despite later arrival. We received a warm welcome from the hostess Derya who was there to give us the keys and show us around. We received many local recommendations from her, and both Derya and Deniz were very responsive to our questions. The location of the place is perfect for a nice stroll in picturesque Cihangir. The neighborhood is lively, but our street was very quiet with excellent coffee shops just next door. A special heartfelt thank you to Derya who went above and beyond in communication with helping us with a lost item in an Uber on the way to the airport. Due to her efforts and fast proactive action, the item was delivered to her as she further facilitated its delivery overseas. With enormous gratitude we recommend these hosts and their place to anyone looking for comfort and good care in Istanbul.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux moment en famille dans cet appartement bien aménagé (un peu petit pour 5 dans la cuisine) . L'emplacement de l'appartement est vraiment idéal pour visiter les monuments les plus emblématiques d'Istanbul à pied. Hikmet a été formidable en répondant très rapidement à toutes nos demandes (informations pratiques, chauffeur à l'aéroport, guide,...). Il a toujours trouvé une solution. Sans soucis, on a l'esprit plus tranquille pour profiter pleinement du séjour. Merci à lui ! J'aurais aimé voir Hikmet pour lui dire de vive voix. Peut-être une prochaine fois ?! ;-) Istanbul est vraiment une ville qui mérite le détour. Les Turcs sont très accueillants.

the unit is very close to the Galata Tower, yet it was quiet even at night. major wow factor has to be the shared terrace on the 6th floor rooftop which offers magnificent view of Topkapi Palace, Haghia Sophia and the Blue Mosque among others. You will have to walk either uphill or downhill to the apartment depending on where you dropped off, as the nearby road is very narrow and crowded with people most of the time and make it difficult to access by car/taxi. it is a walkable distance to Galata bridge (downhill), where you can get on the tram at Karakoy station to sultanahment area. take note that there is no elevator inside the building (due to its historical value) and u will have to climb up a spiral staircase.. neriman owns a shop just next to the apartment so check in/out was a breeze. It is also close to small convenient shop migros where u can get local products etc.

Firat was a great host and met us at his apartment as we left the taxi. Taxi from the airport cost about 1500 tl depending on how busy the traffic is. The apartment was just as described and spotlessly clean. Although the apartment is a few kilometers from old Istanbul, this never presented a problem as there were many bus options from the bus station (Kurtulus) 5/6 min walk away. I recommend getting a Istanbulkarte at the airport as we couldn't find a machine to buy one nearby. There is a very long shopping street which starts at the bus station and contains every shop imaginable including a Super Carrefour supermarket. Walking to Taksim Square takes about 30 mins but be prepared for steep hills. We did the walk a few times and we are both pensioners. If in Istanbul again we would have no hesitation in booking Firat's apartment again.

We liked the house. It is convenient for family living. There are many attractions nearby - we walked all day around the historical part of the area. Opposite the house there is a restaurant with good traditional cuisine. Wahid is a very nice person. Thank you for your hospitality!

We enjoyed our stay The view of the city was breathtaking. We spent our mornings just sitting in the balcony, sipping tea, and soaking in the peaceful vibe of the island, gently rocking in the chairs. The host was warm and welcoming. He even met us at the pier late at night after the ferry and gave us a ride to the house — such a thoughtful gesture. The house itself had the charm of an old, cozy home, with wooden furniture, soft rugs, blankets, and lots of cushions — it felt like a warm hug. We stayed at the end of April for about five days. It was a bit chilly inside because of the sea breeze, and we couldn’t really adjust the indoor temperature, but the thick blankets and endless cups of Turkish tea made it perfectly bearable.

Emre's place made an unforgettable memory for us. We were there for about 10 days, the place matched the description and the photos, close to public transportations and He has been very helpful and responded. For example, We needed a baby chair , a baby bed and we found the pans not useful for us. he immediately provided them. Emre was really great and very lovely. Highly recommended.

I had a lot of help from the owner during my 5 nights and 6 days stay. The location of AirbinNB was perfect for families. I highly recommend it for families with children. There is a playground and a small park right in front of the house. It is very convenient for cooking and doing laundry . There are many stores nearby, so there was no problem with grocery shopping. It is possible to walk to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia in about 15 minutes. very nice location for tourist

Tao’s home is a charming entire house with a private entrance, nestled in a vibrant neighborhood. If you're a fan of Orhan Pamuk's novels, you'll recognize the area, and you'll be pleased to know that the Museum of Innocence actually exists and is located nearby. The house itself is full of character and unique details. The kitchen is well-equipped and had everything we needed traveling with a young child. There are three floors to navigate: the kitchen, dining area, and a shower are located on the ground floor, while the entrance, two bedrooms and a toilet are on the first floor. The second floor features the third bedroom with its own small kitchenette and bathroom. Additionally, the entrance has a few steps as well. Tao is a very sweet, friendly and thoughtful host, and we felt genuinely cared for throughout our visit. Communication was seamless, and he provided us with excellent recommendations for local restaurants that we thoroughly enjoyed.

Öncelikle evin dekorasyon ve tasarımı gerçekten muhteşemdi. Gerçekten çok sıcak bir ortamı vardı. Konuklar için her detay düşünülmüş. Sunulan ürünlerin tamamı vegan ve çevre dostu ürünler olması önemli bir detaydı. Serin sayılabilecek bir haftasonu olmasına rağmen kombi ile rahat biçimde ısındık. Gökçe & Derya konuklarını gerçekten "konuk" olarak gören son derece nazik ve yardımsever insanlar. Bize her konuda hızlı biçimde dönüş sağladılar. Sundukları olanaklar ve yardımları için teşekkürler.

We had a wonderful stay in Ali’s house. It is clean and well equipped. The location is magnificent, everything is around you. Shops, restaurants, cafes, and the lovely sea view are just within walking distance (5-10 minutes). I certainly would stay in this house again.

Wir waren mehr als begeistert, als wir die Unterkunft und das Zimmer betreten haben. Alles sah aus wie auf den Bildern! Zudem war alles sehr sauber, das Personal war äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Praktischerweise gibt es noch einen Kiosk und ein kleines Café im Untergeschoss der Unterkunft. Ein zusätzlich großer Pluspunkt waren der Pool und die Sauna, die ebenso sehr sauber waren. Ich würde diese Unterkunft - vor allem für diesen Preis - immer wieder weiterempfehlen.

Our family of six absolutely loved our stay at Sinan's spacious apartment in Istanbul! The generous layout provided ample room for everyone, and the fully-equipped accommodation offered everything needed for an ideal city getaway. The location is truly exceptional - just minutes from the metro station and a short stroll to the tram line that takes you directly to the city center. Convenience is key with several small supermarkets literally steps from the front door. Sinan proved to be an outstanding host. His responsiveness was impressive, even when we arrived late in the evening. His kindness extended to arranging airport transportation for our departure, which made our trip ending stress-free. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and wholeheartedly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting this magnificent city!

We had a great time at Nilufer's apartment, she is a great host! The place was clean and had everything we needed it (a kitchen chopper would be useful :))). Many shops and place to eat nearby the apartment. Easy access to the bus/metrobus (it takes 30-40 minutes to the historical center). The parking spot was so useful! It's difficult to find parking places around the building/ in Istanbul.

Melih's place was exceptionally good! Booked this apartment because of the cozy and homey feel it had, and once checked in, it did not disappoint. Melih was very responsive from the first request, incredibly friendly and helpful host, offered to go above and beyond to make our stay an unforgettable unique one in a city I often visit. The check in was smooth and very flexible. As soon as I got to the apartment, I was in awe of how well it was thought of, how clean it was, and I mean extremely clean (this is coming from an OCD person for clean places). there was everything you need for a comfortable stay that felt like staying at a family home. The location is also very convenient as described. Every single detail in the apartment, from the toiletries in the bathroom, to the kitchen, to the ornaments and artwork in the entire apartment, and oh, the googly eyes on simple imperfections to make them humorous, and I cannot stop mentioning how clean the floors and carpets were.
