lindo lugar, vista al mar directamente. Ivan y su familia súper cordiales y muy atentos siempre. Comida sana y deliciosa.

Es un lugar tranquilo, amplio y cómodo. Tiene una ventana larga de dos pisos que se abre y permite entrar la brisa, tomar sol, y disfrutar de la playa y el atardecer. Es importante comprar y llevar agua potable propia ya que la toma parece no ser potable. Es un espacio abierto, con grandes ventanas, la gente que pasa (habitantes del lugar) pueden verte dada la cercanía a la playa pero eso no representó ninguna molestia o incomodidad para nosotrxs. Las personas que cuidan el lugar son amables. Si pueden llevar comida de perros y gatos, seguro que también se los agradecerán las mascotas que viven allí (:

Hostel Sin Fronteras Mompiche is a spacious, artfully decorated, well stocked and maintained property, operated by a conscientious, welcoming and friendly host Martín. Both the town and the hostel have a relaxed, chilled, and friendly vibe. Our room with private bathroom, and close proximity to everything and everywhere, was just what we needed. Always fun to get to know a little about our international brothers and sisters while we temporarily share the space, and, as animal lovers, we love that Martín has fur children to pet and play with... we extended our stay. :)

Nous avons passé un moment incroyable dans ce petit paradis en bord de mer, au calme et à quelques pas du centre de Mompiche! La vue est incroyable, les chambres sont agréables et il y a tout ce qu'il faut dans la cuisine! Et Roger nous a accueilli avec un grand sourire, a été très disponible, flexible et nous a en plus gâté avec des délices du jardin! Nous sommes conquis par ce lieu, et reviendront sans hésitation!!!! Un grand merci à Roger!

Secluded paradise says it all. This place is maybe 20 minutes from the small town of Tonchigue so it's fairly remote. It's in a community (Playa Esmereldas) with 8 or 10 other houses with access to a secluded beach. It's very much a natural setting so if you want a/c, cable tv and constant internet, this is probably not the place for you. But If you're looking to relax in a natural setting and get away from all of that, check this place out! At low tide, the water goes out and you can walk around the cliffs on either side of the beach and take a nice long stroll on the beach. The wifi is located in another house and used by the entire community so it's not very fast or reliable, but it was sufficient to check email. It was only accessible in the house from one corner of the porch and even then from a laptop. My phone couldn't get the signal. Overall though, this was a fantastic place with a rustic charm, relaxed vibe and despite some communication issues caused by Air BnB, the hosts were very helpful in providing info and arranging things. We were very happy to have wrapped up our trip to Ecuador relaxing here!
