It is superbly configured to help guests come together when they want to and have privacy when they don’t! The home is kitted out with all you need to facilitate an easy & relaxing getaway for all ages from babies through to older adults. Situated down a private drive and surrounded by native birds, it is incredibly peaceful and still only 10 minutes' walk to town.

Te Waihora Lodge is a lovely farmstead accomodation, there is Toby the friendly and ever hungry KuneKune Pig, the Sheep and the Turkeys all residing on 20 arce's of Lakeside Beauty. Leeston town is only 6km away with local Pubs, Cafes, Restaurants and Markets to fulfil the needs. Picturesque Lake Ellesmere is across the road, with 50,000 birds at last count making it a bird watchers haven. Sitting in the Spa Pool watching the clear night sky and the thousands of Stars is always my highlight.

Our self contained open plan cabin offers a relaxing escape, with comfy beds, a full kitchen and spacious bathroom. The Cabin is only a short walk away to a secluded beach where mussels can be gathered, or you may be lucky and find a piece of greenstone. Soak in the outdoor hot tub, especially if you have done the Paparoa Track (pick up/drop off can be arranged at a competitive price, please enquire.) Snuggle up in front of the log burner fire in Winter. Continental Breakfast is included.

We're only 30 minutes from the centre of Christchurch, about 1 hour to Porters Ski Area or Mount Hutt or 15 minutes from The National Equestrian Centre at McLeans Island. This is a family lifestyle property. We have horses, alpacas, kunekune pigs, chickens and dogs. Bring your horse. There is grazing with easy access and parking for trucks and floats.
