Book this place!! We had such a great time at the beach and in this Airbnb. Our group was comprised of 3 couples and 2 infants and we were so comfortable! We stayed for 4 nights and made all of our meals with ease - one of the best equipped kitchens I've stayed in. We loved the location, truly a 3-5 minute walk to the beach (depending on how much you're carrying!), and a great view of the Sound. The Airbnb was bigger than I expected and having 2.5 bathrooms was great for our group size. Highly recommend!!

This is the second time we’ve stayed at Marooned Five as a family of five and we all love it! Our 2 younger kids love the loft and my older kid loves the second bedroom to himself. It’s not easy finding room for everyone when we travel but we don’t have to worry about it when we stay at David and Kris’ place. The two golf carts give us flexibility to split up and we also love riding bikes on the island. Marooned Five comes with everything you need for a relaxing vacation. We have stayed here during the off season and prefer it but will also be back during the summer season. Some of our favorites to do here: climb Old Baldy, eat at Jules and Jailhouse, beach days, have a date sans kids at Bald Head Bottle, visit Turtle Central and complete their scavenger hunt around the island. We went to Sunday service at the Chapel and had breakfast afterwards at The Boathouse. We shopped at the Maritime shops and scheduled a guided kayak tour (that was canceled due to rain). But we’ll be back!

This place is amazing. When I have to stay at other places, I always hold them to Rob's standards and they hardly ever meet those. His place is clean and convenient. It's literally about 6 steps to the ocean. I think my favorite thing is the two decks facing the ocean. You could just sit there for hours and enjoy the scenery. Plenty of space to just hang out and chill. All that you would ever need in a kitchen, living room, and bedrooms. I straight up don't want to stay anywhere else but here. Thank you Rob for another perfect stay!

Nice place steps from the beach. The roof deck provides a great view.

This is the 2nd consecutive year we’ve stayed here for our annual girls trip! We usually go to a different beach each year but we came back to Kure because we liked this house so much. I really can’t say enough good things about it. Super convenient to the beach so our group can come and go as they please. It’s very comfortable, clean, spacious and we feel very safe here. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance but this year we drove 10 minutes to Carolina Beach which was also very easy and convenient. Michelle is very communicative and responsive. Couldn’t ask for a better host!

Robyn’s place was everything we asked for and needed for our yearly family vacation to Kure beach. The place was very clean, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. Being steps away from the ocean made this stay so special. The balcony upstairs was a wonderful bonus for early morning coffee and watching sunsets. Thanks again Robyn for sharing your place with us.

Our group had a wonderful stay! The house was lovely, with plenty of space and comfortable accommodations. The well stocked beach supplies closet was a highlight and had everything we needed for enjoying the beach. Connie was communicative and had lots of great suggestions. With the beach only a block away, it was the perfect vacation retreat! Thank you for being such gracious hosts!

This was even nicer than what was advertised. Beautiful, clean, fully stocked and the host was so helpful. We had to plan a surprise and she helped us with recommendations since we were not from the area and allowed us to check in earlier to help with our plans. Would definitely go back and highly recommend.

Absolutely a beautiful home! Everything was spot on, from a well stocked kitchen to plenty of towels, to comfortable furniture. We had a weather related issue, which I casually mentioned to Sara. ( it most likely would have resolved itself). She responded within the hour and the issue was resolved within a few hours. She made sure we were safe and comfortable. The location was perfect, with restaurants within walking distance. I would highly recommend this home. I can honestly say it was one of the nicest places in which we’ve stayed.

We had a great stay at this property. Plenty of extras to feel comfortable - extra paper products, trash bags, etc and even had a beach wagon, chairs, beach bags, and towels. Responsive host without extra unnecessary conversation. Really appreciated this last minute availability as our original booking got cancelled the night before.

We had a great stay at Sarah’s place! We had our 8 month old daughter and dog with us, both first timers at the beach. We had plenty of room for them both and us. It’s very baby and dog friendly in this home. It’s a quick stroll to the beach and can easily go back and forth during the day if needed. The place had everything we needed and more. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice place! Very clean . Had everything in order and more. We enjoyed our weekend there. Loved how close it was to the beach and squiggly’s ice cream shop! Will definitely come back to stay there! Catherine went above and beyond with the details inside the house!

I was in town for 2 weeks on a work trip. Home was comfortable and location was great. Close to my office and convenient to lots of shopping and dining options.

Just wow! Beautiful home with lots of space, we love that it was pet friendly and the outdoor shower was such a bonus for washing sandy paws! The owners were extremely responsive and the kitchen was more than stocked for cooking! Not to mention the beds were soooo comfortable. We will be back!

Great place and safe neighborhood. It was clean, well stocked, and I enjoyed the decor. The house setup was perfect for traveling with two little kids. The hosts were great with communication and helpful with local recommendations. It was easy to get to the grocery store, restaurants, playgrounds and a 20ish minute drive to the beach. Would stay here again!

This is such an amazing find and I can’t recommend it more highly! Absolutely pristine house with beautiful and trendy decor and every comfort thought of. Check in was easy, host was so sweet and accommodating, the beach is truly a few mins walk away, and everything was new and clean. We loved the beautiful outdoor deck seating to watch the sunset, there are lots of restaurants in walking distance, and the kitchen was FULLY stocked with lots of dishes and ingredients (far more than most Airbnbs). Stay here! It’s incredible! *There are two wide flights of stairs to access this unit but equipped with a secure child gate at the top. If you have any elderly people joining you may want to consider this.

Quiet, nice beach house! We definitely had such a good time here. It had all the amenities we needed! Mark was very responsive & always friendly and kind.

Karen's listing was absolutely wonderful! It was clean, comfortable, roomy, and equipped with everything we needed for an amazing stay! The proximity to the beach was a highlight! It was so easy to just walk over to the beach from the house, and we could also sit on the deck and enjoy watching the ocean. The property was lovely and we would love to stay there again! I recommend it highly! Karen is a great host and gave us all the instructions we would need to help our week go great!

This Airbnb is great and definitely the place to stay if you're visiting Wilmington/Wrightsville Beach area. It is convenient, easy to get to and the location is away from all the traffic areas. Cleanliness is most important to me when staying places and this place far exceeded all expectations, it was spotless! The layout is great and lots of space. Angela was kind and easy to work with, very responsive and clear directions. No problems and a definite need to visit again.

The place exceeding our expectations. It was easy to get into when we checked in. We had five adults and two children (ages 2 and 6) in our family. My 80 year old mother was with as well. The elevator was a life saver for her. The layout allowed the parents and children to have the entire 2nd floor to themselves. Great grandma also stayed on the 2nd floor as there were 3 bedrooms and two full bathrooms on this floor. The 4th floor was a great place to hang out, play games, and put a huge puzzle together. It also had an amazing sleep space, although we did not need it. The full bathroom on this floor was also much appreciated. The kitchen was amazing, having everything we needed to cook and enjoy meals together throughout the week. The beach was very close (3 min walk) on a nice boarded walk way with no traffic or worries as we walked with little ones daily. The pool was very close as well and made a great alternative when kids tired of the beach. Highly recommend!
