We had a great time at this place. The lake was beautiful and host was very accommodating and responsive. Lots of places for people to sleep and hangout. Great amenities as well. Having access to the boat was great!

This retreat on the lake was absolutely perfect for spending time with extended family during a Notre Dame game weekend! The house was flawless! Everything that was described in the listing was exactly how we found it. Our host was super quick to respond to any questions we had during our stay. Great place for a couple to relax and unwind!

We were here for a conference at Southwestern Michigan College so our stay was very brief but the cottage was very clean, adorably decorated, and in a great location - 5 min to downtown Dowagiac and under 10 to the college. Would love to come back for a longer stay to be able to use the cozy yard and explore the area a bit more. Would definitely recommend to a family or small group.

We really enjoyed our stay at the lake house! The house is comfortable and had everything you might need. Shari was very responsive and helpful. Donnell lake is beautiful and we enjoyed both sunrise and sunset even though it was too cold to get in the water, fishing was still possible! Nice drive to South Haven one day for shopping and lunch.

This is a great space. Very clean, cozy, and comfortable. Furnishings were comfortable. We had everything we needed (toiletries, kcups, etc). The washer/dryer came in handy for drying wet suits and towels. And when I left a suit behind, Ann was sweet to offer to mail! We look forward to a return visit next summer! Would highly recommend.

Fantastic stay! Very clean, all amenities needed for our stay, cozy-comfortable home. Host was attentive and accommodating - quick to respond. Would highly recommend this host and their home.

My partner and I stayed here a couple nights and overall very much enjoyed the space. Inside the apartment was clean and updated. We did have trouble getting in (the code didn't work) but they were there within 10 minutes to help. The heat also wasn't working (stayed about 63 degrees in there) but again they did everything they could to help and we eventually found a space heater on the last day while we were packing up. We didn't love the overhead shower but that was a personal preference. If you are like me and don't wash your hair every day, bring a shower cap. Even with these few kinks I would stay there again because it was clean and they were extremely communicative and did what they could to make us happy and feel comfortable! Also great view of the pond outside the window.

Lisa was an amazing host! The location was great right on the lake and the space had everything we needed. I highly recommend staying with her!

My two girlfriends and I stayed here for two nights and it has the most beautiful view of Lake Michigan! We arrived later in the evening and were so thankful that our host left us with restaurant menus and recommendations, we loved the pizza. Place was clean and very well stocked with linens and even coffee and some water in the fridge. The beach is a steep staircase away (it was a bit rough, and my legs hurt, but it’s worth the trek). Also thank you sooo much for letting us use your beach chairs! We stayed on the beach from sunrise to sunset. It was magical and the views are to die for! Our only complaint would be the lack of communication that the host would be staying on site during the same weekend as us. The listing brags about a private beach and yet at one point the hosts wife appeared 15-20 feet sitting directly behind us reading a book. We felt like teenagers being watched by our mother. We decided to take a walk, and when we came back she was gone, but it was weird.

Sameena was wonderful and extremely responsive. This was one of the cleanest Airbnbs we have been to. We had three toddlers with us and weren’t worried about the cleanliness of the floors, walls or surfaces. The very pleasant cleaning woman lives close by if anything comes up. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need to cook a meal. The only inconvenience is that there isn’t a washer and dryer in the home but there is one available to use down the street with clear instructions on how to get there. Overall this was a wonderful experience with plenty of space!

This was our second time staying at one of Stephanie‘s apartments. We loved it just as much this time as we did the last time, and we will definitely be back. The location is perfect and she’s a wonderful hostess.

Patty's place was GREAT! My 3 sisters and I had a very relaxing and enjoyable vacation. The Condo was exactly as pictured. It was very clean, had everything we needed in the living room, bathrooms and in the kitchen to cook meals. All 3 beds were very comfortable with plenty of blankets and pillows. We were able to drive North, South & East less than 30 minutes to visit wineries, shops, antique malls and fine restaurants. There are lots of things to do close to Coloma for 4 retired ladies. We loved walking down to the beach every evening to watch the sunset and waves as they rolled in.

Great place and a fantastic experience with Lauren. Very peaceful home (like in the country) yet close to everything. The home is very clean and has everything you'll need. This place is 5 Stars, and priced very reasonably, so book it now if its available. You will not regret it! Thanks again Lauren for the treats. Special surprise that made our day even better. I needed it after the Notre Dame loss and that cheered me up :)

Such amazing views very nice and quite loved it

Absolutely needed that! The view and sounds of the pond is all we needed. Every morning I could sit and listen to the swans, ducks and cranes. The muskrats are cute as well. Perfect place. Not too much but everything you need. Would definitely stay here again. Heidi is nearly at the other side of the world but she always responded within minutes. Sorry Heidi for giving that away, you’ll have to stay on your quick response game now😁.

Had a fantastic family vacation at Diamond Lake. The cottage was perfect - cozy, clean, and VERY well stocked. Check in before you go to the grocery store because you won’t need anything other than food and drinks - all other supplies are provided. The beds were comfortable. Plenty of board games for rainy days. And the front porch and yard allowed for some family fun in the evenings after being on the beach on sunny days. Thank you for hosting - - we will be back next summer!

Great host and great place to stay while visiting the area!

Jared and Erika were great hosts! Property and pontoon were better than described. Very tastefully decorated that made you feel both at home and on vacation. Home and pontoon were very clean. Pontoon was a huge convenience and I highly recommend it. Jared and Erika were flexible with the accommodations. Peaceful surroundings and a beautiful lake. Kids enjoyed taking the pontoon out daily and in the evenings. Very nice golf course nearby. Nice furniture and fire pit to relax in the evenings. My family can’t say enough about how much they loved this vacation …. 5 stars all around. Jared and Erika were like friends. We will definitely stay again!

Nicole was a great host. My family and I wanted an end of summer trip and this was perfect! The house was as described and as it looks in the photos. We took the boat out each day fishing. We also took the kayaks out for a bit. With a bit of rainy weather we played games. Nicole has a wide variety of games to chose from with any unfortunate weather. When reaching out to Nicole she answered very quick with great recommendations.

We LOVED staying at Tj's place. It was a great location on Dewey Lake, beautifully decorated inside, and immaculately clean. We had an issue with the furnace, and Tj responded quickly and did his best to rectify the situation. The furnace couldn't be fixed over the weekend, but we used the fireplace and a neighbor brought over space heaters at Tj's request, so we were nice and toasty. Because the weather was rainy, we didn't get to use the deck with the fire pit. But we did get to use the sun room when the sun was out, to read and gaze out at the lake. I look forward to returning, and recommend Tj's cottage to anyone looking for a getaway in the Sister Lakes / Dowagiac area. We would also recommend The Baker's Rhapsody in Dowagiac for coffee and baked goodies for a treat, and the Sister Lakes Brewery for good, plentiful casual food. Their beer selection is excellent; get a four beer flight of your choosing. The Dewey Lake Monster selection is particularly good!

Family in town for a reunion. We had 7 people and there is plenty of room. The kitchen had everything you would need for cooking. Home was well stocked, paper towels, bathroom amenities, etc. Grandkids loved the shallow beachfront. I highly recommend.

Kimberly's spot on Shavehead Lake is absolutely perfect. It's our second year in a row and we hope to continue the tradition for many more years. Great access to the lake, beautiful green space, peaceful and relaxing deck and patio areas and all the amenities you need.
