Nous avons pu apprécier pendant quelques jours la beauté et le confort de ce cottage, situé au cœur d’une très charmante région, ainsi que la gentillesse de ses propriétaires, Kenneth et Jan. Nous recommandons chaleureusement et reviendrons avec plaisir.

We have just stayed at this beautiful AirBnB and we didn’t want to leave to come home! The gite is stylishly decorated with everything you would need for a home from home! The attention to detail from the host is impeccable with welcome gift and gorgeous table laid up for dinner on arrival!! The location is wonderful! Peaceful and surrounded by vineyards! It is not far to the local village and we had a delicious meal in one of the restaurants Karine recommended. She had even gone to the effort of ringing round the restaurants to check which would be open as we arrived on a French holiday! Karine offered a friendly welcome and had plenty of recommendations for restaurants, bakery’s and places to visit nearby! The gite was spotlessly clean and the hot tub was a nice relaxing bonus! Overall we had a fantastic stay at Karine’s place and we would not hesitate to return in the future! Thank you Karine!

Almost don’t want to say how lovely, as will make it more competitive to book to go back! In a word - glorious! - The gite, gardens and grounds and pool are kept beautifully. Gite was spotless and very well equipped (including lots of goodies on arrival, garden games to use there - kids were very happy - charcoal ready for the bbq etc), huge comfortable beds, and wood fired hot tub to sit and look at the stars. - Stunning surrounding views (endless fields of sunflowers) and lovely shady woods to be walk. - Lots of pretty villages - particularly Aubeterre with its central square and river beach worth the short drive (under 20 mins). We also loved the big river beach at St Aulaye (c.40 mins). - Meg and Mark are kind, fun and knowledgeable hosts who were perfect balance of around and incredibly helpful - but very much left us to just relax and enjoy the gite/pool as our own. - Shopping v easy at local supermarkets, various markets and nearby village shop/butchers. Thank you!!

Notre séjour chez Mike a été très agréable. Un endroit très paisible, chaleureux et ressourçant ! L’hôte, Mike est d’une gentillesse exceptionnelle, à l’écoute, discret et disponible rapidement. Je donne un 10/10 au séjour.

Un logement incroyable avec une mention spéciale pour la cuisine (spacieuse, très bien équipée, un vrai plaisir de cuisiner en famille). Le logement est chaleureux, la literie très confortable. Il est spacieux et décoré avec goût. Nous avons aussi apprécié le fait d’avoir une salle de bains pour chacune des chambres, le spa à l’extérieur, le charme du petit village. Merci aussi à Dominique, la personne avec laquelle nous avons été en contact, qui a été réactive chaque fois que nous l’avons sollicitée.

Nous avons passé un excellent week-end dans ce logement confortable et spacieux. L'emplacement permet de profiter du calme. La décoration charmante ajoutait une touche agréable à notre séjour. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié les équipements et la propreté des lieux, la cuisine fonctionnelle et le confort de la literie. Nous avons eu quelques fourmis dans la chambre mais rien de grave. Nous avons réservé une séance privée de 1h30 au spa jacuzzi, c'était divin ! Nous recommandons vivement ce gîte accueillant pour un séjour relaxant et dépaysant... Merci

Suzon was the most amazing friendly host. She welcomed us into her home and made our stay very enjoyable. The gite was perfect for us, equipped kitchen, comfortable and outdoor cooking facilities. Lovely pool area. Nice and quiet. Beautiful walks. We were invited to a wine tasting evening and Suzon was a fantastic host and cooked the most beautiful ‘French tapas’! Great stay, thank you.

Notre séjour s’est très bien passé dans la Maison Benaise. Nous n’avons manqué de rien et avons pu cuisiner comme à la maison. Le terrain, bien clôturé, a permis à nos chiennes de se dépenser à leur guise, avec en prime une vue sur les chevaux ! La météo n’était pas avec nous mais la proximité des sentiers nous a permis de découvrir les alentours entre deux averses. Beaucoup de sentiers à découvrir à proximité!

Nos hôtes ont été très accueillant et ils ont même pris soin de nous préparer une carte avec les différents sites touristiques à proximité. Le logement était très bien, effectivement l'échelle de meunier est assez raide et le premier étage est très mansardée surtout la salle de bain. ce fût un agréable séjour.

Merci pour cet agréable séjour dans une région riche en découvertes. Le logement était parfait, très agréable malgré la canicule. Nous avons pu profiter et de la fraîcheur de la maison et de l’extérieur avec cette terrasse parfaitement protégée par un magnifique arbre et offrant une superbe vue sur la campagne environnante. « Calme » fût le maître mot de notre séjour Merci ! ☺️

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Jacotte. Lieu agréable et paisible. Hôtes très accueillants et réactifs. La maison est charmante, confortable et joliment meublée. La Dordogne est une belle région ou nous aurons plaisir à revenir. Nous recommandons ce logement qui est agréable et idéalement situé.

Whilst driving through France with our dog, we saw this gorgeous place was available and thought we had to come and stay, and I’m so glad we did! It felt like we discovered such a gem in a gorgeous setting. The hosts could not do more for us to ensure we had a good time staying - even going as far as finding us a Cognac tour that was open on a Sunday and allowed us to bring our dog to, just so we could enjoy what the area does best! It felt like a huge hug being welcomed into Jonathan & Samantha’s place, with fresh baked goods dropped off in the morning and some really beautiful touches throughout our stay, it really was so perfect. We already can’t wait to come back. Thank you! X

We loved our stay here. Beautiful location in rolling countryside, comfortable accomodation with amenities just a short drive away. Our host, Fran was very friendly and responsive. The gite was just lovely. We had a great time and would go back.

This is a really lovely cottage in amongst the vines, and a wonderful pool, terrace, bbq... It was extremely hot for the first few days (over 38 degrees) and although the cottage wasn't air-conditioned, it was cool and there were plenty of fans. Emma was extremely helpful and suggested lots of local restaurants and activities which were all great. The cottage was well supplied with everything we needed - good for cooking, and I read from (and donated to) the great little library of books provided. The unexpected bonus was that her TV could access UK BBC live and we watched a LOT of the Olympics with UK commentary! Such a lovely holiday, thank you.

The Cottage is very nice. All was very clean and in good condition. The kitchen is also very faboulus, it has all what you need for cooking. We had a good time to slow down. We can Balbina and Didier with this nice place higly recommend .

Wat een heerlijke plek, een klein paradijs! Wenxi en Laurent gaven ons een warm welkom, je voelt je meteen helemaal thuis. Het huis en de tuin zijn ontzettend charmant, en voorzien van alles wat je nodig hebt. Onze kinderen genoten van het zwembad en de lieve huisdieren. Topvakantie!

From the start to the finish staying at Petit Veau was just wonderful. We wanted a spacious and private location to visit for our holiday and this was it. Charmaine was really helpful throughout and nothing felt like a bother. The cottage was delightful, charmingly decorated and wonderful to stay in. We wanted to bring our dog and was pleased to discover, as Charmaine had promised, that the large garden and outside space was completely fenced in and so our dog could roam freely and we could relax. The facilities were fabulous and way more than we needed but we did enjoy the pool, the kitchen & BBQ as well as long long evenings on the terrace looking out at an amazing view. I would recommend this cottage without reservation.

Nous avons passé un semaine très agréable dans la maison de Linda et Tim (très bien décorée, très chaleureuse), un logement très propre, bien équipé (tout le confort), environnement superbe et calme. L’espace extérieur très bien aménagé tout le matériel (transats, coussins, table, barbecue… et la piscine)aucun vis à vis. Le plus : 2 places de parking. Nous remercions Linda et Tim pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse. Pour découvrir cette belle région nous vous recommandons d’aller chez Linda et Tim.

super séjour au calme avec de nombreuses activités proposées sur place, convivial et familial, de jolies balades à prévoir : randonnées pédestres, canoë, plages et lacs à visiter. proche bordeaux. les hôtes sont très agréables, discrets et accueillants. je recommande !

Wat hebben we genoten van de onuitputtelijke gastvrijheid van Craig en Nicola, de heerlijke omgeving en de gezelligheid van hun gite. Een aanrader voor gezinnen die graag op ontdekking gaan in de omgeving.
