We had a great time, Tom was quick to respond when we were booking, the place was great, brought our dogs and had a really nice time. Right on the water and we had fun fishing from the lower level of the yard. Great outdoor grill and dinning area. Would stay again. Location was great and very convenient to everything.

We just completed our second stay at The Monarc ranch, in the Among the Crepe Myrtles. 9 years ago, my mom and I visited for a mother daughter trip. This year, she (now 93) and I allowed my husband, sister and BIL to come along. The house was the same as we remembered (inviting, clean, and so relaxing), along with the yummy homemade biscuits and muffins. Loved on the kitties, saw deer and cows in the field. We also saw an eagle's nest and were able to capture some pics. Perfect get away with family. Book this if you want the best relaxing experience and close proximity to everything! Very cute house and spacious. We had a good time in the hot tub. Location was very close to all the wineries, only minutes away. We will come back with family.

We had a little hiccup getting into the cabin but Cherri immediately came out to help. The cabin was perfect and secluded exactly like the photos.

Absolutely an adorable house with a lot put into the decor. It felt like home away from home. There are 3 types of AirBnbs: 1. Not going back there 2. That was enjoyable 3. Didn’t want to leave We definitely DIDN’T want to leave. -Neighborhood was clean. -Property and inside of the house was clean. -Easy to find. -Was private but yet people were around. -Adorable unique decor. -Solid A/C and heater. -Great water pressure. -Host was very responsive and friendly. We want to stay there again!!!

Fernweh was so peaceful and cozy. The unit was super clean and cozy. We enjoyed the dog run for our dog and the drive past the river to the grounds that felt super private. Wish we could have enjoyed the pool and hot tub but only stayed one night. Dakota was responsive, helpful and flexible. It was hard to leave and we will definitely go back!

We had such a great time. It was the first time we've gotten away by ourselves and this was the perfect spot for it. We were greeted by peacocks every morning. What an experience. Thank you

The absolute best cottage I’ve ever stayed in. Stunning bedroom & bathroom. Super quaint & peaceful. And the stars at night are truly magical.

The house is darling with well appointed and thoughtful items. Very comfortable beds! It is in a fairly run-down neighborhood, but convenient to many San Antonio attractions.

We have stayed in this place before and just love it every time. host is responsive and great. place is clean and bedsheets always smell fresh and clean. When we visit family there, this is now the only AirBnB we will stay at in Canton Lake. Highly recommended definitely 5 stars

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it was the perfect get away! Kathy was such a gracious host and kept us informed of places to visit and events in town. She gave great instructions on how to find their place and stayed in touch to ensure we had everything we neeeded. She even hung a birthday sign because I mentioned we were celebrating husbands birthday! She left us hand feeders for the hummingbirds which was one of the highlights of the trip for us. We loved watching for all the birds on the feeders, walking out to feed the goats, and just having a peaceful place to be! It was a delight to meet Kathy and Wayne. Kathy even went out of her way to help my daughter hold one of the baby goats. We definitely hope to come back again some day! We loved purchasing some of Wayne's amazing metal work! We hope to visit again soon!

We had a wonderful stay over a long Easter weekend with family! The deck area overlooking the lake is a fantastic place to hang out with family and pets. We played card games outdoors and there is a cool fort with slide that kept our We also enjoyed sitting in the shady area down by the lake with access to a hammock and chairs. The cabin is cozy and peaceful. We slept really well each night with the black-out shades. Overall, a wonderful cabin. Thank you for sharing it with us for the weekend!

This cabin was wonderful and so peaceful. It was clean and comfortable and quiet. Obvious that the host cares about details and really went beyond to make the cabin welcoming. All the many lovely touches to the cabin make it clear this cabin is a home and is loved by its owners. We saw many dear and a fox during our stay and we slept so well. Definitely recommend staying here and we hope to again.

We had the absolute BEST experience staying at this perfect little cottage near Dripping Springs! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away. The home is small, but every inch of it is so thoughtfully designed and impeccably decorated — cozy, charming, and truly picture-perfect. It felt like stepping into a dream. The outdoor space was just as incredible — inviting, peaceful, and so comfortable that we honestly didn’t want to leave. We were supposed to be attending a retreat nearby, but we found ourselves wishing we could just stay at the cottage instead! The home was spotless, stocked with everything we needed, and the owner communicated flawlessly, making the whole process easy and welcoming. We can’t recommend this place enough and are already dreaming about coming back. It’s truly a hidden gem!

We used to live in Boerne and were coming back for a weekend visit so we were familiar with the area. Took about 10-15 minutes to get to downtown, HEB, etc. we really enjoyed the location and my daughter loved the friendly horse and cat! We kept saying “if we ever move back to Boerne, this is where we want to live!” Everything was clean, directions were easy to follow, and Lise was very friendly and responsive! Great stay! Great space for my wife and I! Sitting on the front porch after a day of wine tasting was the perfect way to end our day. The BOGO coupon for wine tasting at TWC was an added bonus! Convenient and comfortable place.

This cottage was so clean and beautiful! The furnishings are antique and add a lot of character, making it the perfect spot for a girls weekend away from the kids! Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here for a quick overnight trip while visiting our son who’s a TXST student. This was only about 14 minutes from his dorm and so much better than the hotels in the area. The host communicated well and the place was clean and as described. We will definitely stay again.
