Make you trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". We hope that a stay at the Temple will deliver this experience and stay true to this vision.

Garden studio with private access
A private guest house in a lovely garden, a quiet retreat outside the city centre of Edinburgh. The main living area comprises a double bed, dining area and kitchenette (fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle). This is not a full kitchen and does not include a sink. Off the main living area is a WC/shower room. Private access and a dedicated parking space is through a secure gate in a quiet lane. The city centre is a very easy 15 minute bus ride away and there are a number of regular busses.

Excellent transport links to the airport and city centre by bus stop located directly outside the property. Great location for rugby at Murrayfield stadium, as well as Edinburgh Airport (10 min), Gyle Business Parks (10 min) and Zoo (10min). Local amenities (24 hour Tesco) 2 minutes walk from the flat, cafes/restaurants, pubs) are also located at 10min walking away.

The fashionable Stockbridge area is just short walk away, as is Arthur's Seat, the Water of Leith and Murrayfield.

With great bus links to the city centre, Edinburgh Zoo, Murrayfield Stadium, and Edinburgh Airport. The Annex is peaceful, despite being close to all the amenities Corstorphine has to offer (think lovely independent cafes, restaurants and shops!) A fantastic base to explore Edinburgh and beyond. Tourist tax is included in price!

Shaftesbury Park - Your home from home
Shaftesbury Park is a comfortable artist-owned traditional ground floor flat in a Victorian terraced house with fast wifi and its own little garden. It lies two miles southwest of Edinburgh Castle in a leafy conservation area and is only a short bus ride from all major visitor attractions. A well-stocked delicatessen is just across the road and provides delicious croissants and wines. Active guests love the 30min walk along the scenic Union Canal which takes them straight to the city centre.

Situated 2.5 miles to the west of Edinburgh City Centre (15mins by bus), this deceptively spacious 3 Bedroom house is attached to but separate from the host’s main residence, having its own private entrance and outside space to the front. Disabled access is via a private lane to the rear of the property. (Arrange with host). The ground floor accommodation has a bedroom, toilet and wet room, ideal for guests who cannot manage stairs. Travel cot and high chair available for our smaller guests.

Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac, within 5 minutes walk to bus routes to the city centre and 10 minutes to the airport bus stop. By car, the city can be reached in 15 minutes. There are beautiful nearby walks down to the Forth River front and beach. The suite is attached to our family home but the connecting door will be kept locked ensuring your privacy.
