We spent three nights here in the Forge with our dog Medo for a birthday break, and to visit the Kilkenny Roots Festival. The cottage was perfect for us, it had everything we needed. The grounds are lovely to walk around, especially during the dawn chorus. The old stone buildings and forest trail left to grow wild is one of the things we loved most about the place. The dinner was also exceptional, with an excellent wine selection. We were regularly greeted by the happy Fauna, and a collection of geese pottering around. The house is in a great location for walking the Slieve Bloom mountains, and we plan to come back in the not too distant future. Thank you Hannah and Paddy!

I needed a little break from life and this haven cabin was perfect for it its also surrounded by animals if you like them and beautiful views. I was delighted with my stay, easy and simple facility Peaceful place

Miriam’s place was absolutely perfect for our family of 6. Very lovely home in such a peaceful and beautiful area. Would highly recommend and would love to come back and stay again!

The room (or rather the apartment!) was very clean, in the style of the house which gives it all its charm. Very well signposted, the house is in the middle of nature... nothing better to enjoy Ireland! I highly recommend it!

Wonderful stay in Terryglass, thank you! Super cottage, peaceful surroundings, great games room, and friendly animals too - Jesse the dog, and May and Georgie the Kerry Bog Ponies. Niall and Inez were very welcoming and generous hosts providing freshly-baked homemade bread made to a traditional local recipe - delicious! Great pub in the nearby village with good food recommended by Niall. Were sad to be leaving at the end of our stay.

The pond cabins were absolutely beautiful! Would definitely recommend staying here . Iveta was extremely friendly and helpful and came down to personally welcome us . Milk , sugar , tea etc supplied on arrival for a hot cup of tea after our drive ! Hot tub was easy use and really made the experience. Will definitely visit again !

Amazing stay right on the farm! We arrived to fresh scones with milk and cream in the fridge. We woke up to the animals right outside our window! Was a great stop on our tour through Ireland!

A lovely cottage in a peaceful setting. The pictures are accurate, amenities are updated for how old the cottage is. Warm, comfortable linens and beds. Fresh, homemade biscuits awaited our arrival as well as a warm peat fire. Beautifully furnished. Tomás was very communicative, friendly, and helpful. He and his farmhand, Queenie the pup, welcomed us warmly. He gave local recommendations, and was always available for questions. We would definitely stay here again, and recommend to anyone.

Beautiful setting and wonderful accommodation for relaxing getaway . House was stocked with food and drink to start our stay. Bedrooms felt like 5 star hotel. We enjoyed the tennis courts, hot tub and nature trail walk.

What a lovely place this is! The house is so comfy and cozy, we felt like it was home Away from home. Everything we needed was there—the kitchen was stocked , we had plenty of towels and blankets., and we even enjoyed the bathtub. The environment was lovely, and we were able to reached everywhere we wanted to go easily. I highly recommend this gem of a place!

John and Monika are wonderful hosts. The house was warm and welcoming and stocked with tea, coffee and snacks on arrival. Monika brought delicious home made scones she had baked on the second evening as well. Whilst John and Monika were readily available they let us be to do our own thing and we really felt like the place was ours for the stay. The outside is beautiful and scenic and for a big group we all had our privacy because of the number of bathrooms and bedrooms and how they are laid out. The children had a small field with 2 goalposts and footballs to keep them occupied and they went on a rabbit hunt as there were a few around the property. Highly recommend Cnoc an Oir - it's a gorgeous and nature filled getaway.

We loved the cottage from the moment we pulled up. The photos don’t do it justice. It’s beautiful inside and out. Set in beautiful surroundings, the kids particularly enjoyed watching the cows go into the fields every morning and watching the sheep dog race down the fields. The kitchen and living area is open plan and perfect for families. The layout works well and the bedrooms are spacious. Jeanette was very responsive and helpful and gave lots of local recommendations for places to eat and drink in the area, we loved The Thatched Cottage which was a 5 minute drive away. We would highly recommend this cottage.

All I can say is WOW! Spectacular stay at the Granary! Every little detail was beautifully crafted. Easy drive into Thurles town. So much fun at The Monks! Thanks for everything, Bee! Hope you’ll have us back😊

We enjoyed staying at Ashleigh's place. Everything we needed was there and we were able to have breakfast and evening meal in the house. We were visiting family half an hour away so it was convenient for us.

Can highly recommend and would definitely book again
