Duffus House Lodge - rural retreat

The Lodge is a traditional gate lodge located at the entrance to Duffus Estate, on the edge of the small village of Duffus. Set in from the Elgin/Duffus B road, it is surrounded by Estate woodland and open fields which are home a host of wildlife, such as our cheeky red squirrels or shy roe deer. We welcome up to 2 well behaved dogs and you can explore the network of paths across the Estate and beyond. Duffus is only 2 miles from the magnificent Moray coast with its unspoilt sandy beaches.

Enjoy easy access to everything from this perfectly located home base. This spacious and fully equipped cottage accommodates 2 adults and two children, with a superking bed (option for 2 single beds) and two single sofa beds. It is positioned in a central but quiet residential street, with Elgin Cathedral, the town centre and Cooper Park all within a 5 minute walk. By car, the stunning beaches and coastline of Moray can be easily reached, as can the hills and distilleries of Speyside.

Set in the lovely town of Lossiemouth, this wee house is terrific for a relaxed time out by the sea. With a great and spacious open plan living room/ kitchen and stunning sea views from the main bedroom, our home is the perfect place for some time out, surrounded by fresh sea air and in a very comfortable and relaxed house. Our cleaning rating was affected in 2024 by cleaners who did not care for the property. We found out the job was not getting done, we have resolved this issue 😊

Located close to Lossiemouth harbour, this flat boasts stunning views of East Beach. Dolphin spotting possible! Lounge and bedroom benefit from being at the front of the property so you will enjoy stunning sunrises and beach views from the elevated first floor position. The bedroom has a king bed and a single pull out bed that would suit a little one. GCH and a beautiful wood burner that will warm you quickly. Number 7 is a stylish cottage in the sought after west end of Elgin. It is just a short walk from the city’s vibrant array of cafes, bars, restaurants and the home of Gordon&MacPhail for the whisky lovers. Recently refurbished with traditional features, including the original cast iron roll top bath for which we highly recommended a relaxing dip with lots of bubbles. This is the perfect base for exploring the beautiful Moray Coast, Aberdeenshire and the Highlands.

Flat by the Sea

Cosy self contained flat in quiet village on the beautiful moray coast surrounded by beautiful beaches and woodland. Ten minutes away from Elgin by car and on a hourly bus route to surrounding villages. Village has post office and well stocked Scot mid for groceries. Two pubs that offer good grub. Fully functional kitchen in flat with oven and microwave no hob slow cooker available. Good sized fridge and also washing machine.
