Nearby there is also the Hay Festival in May/June, Brecon Jazz Festival in August & every September brings the famous Abergavenny Food Festival. Willow Cottage is located within the Black Mountains, nestled high up on the hillside above the village of Llangattock. Set within the Brecon Beacons National Park. The cottage has fantastic walks from the door, great cycle rides, pony trekking and caving nearby too. Or you can just take a gentle stroll along the Brecon & Monmouth Canal which glides along at the bottom of the hill. Approximately 2 miles away is Crickhowell, with its award winning high street, fabulous pubs and restaurants.
