Fantastic place to stay for a few days over new year. Impeccably clean and very well appointed the home was perfect for our family with two teenagers. Bede and Deb were great hosts very helpful and responded to a query we had very promptly thank you. The house is gorgeous and beautifully styled with a nice outside space with bbq to use. The location is a short drive to town and was handy to a great cafe, small supermarket and great tennis court. Thanks very much Bede and Deb we really enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful cabin in a lovely private pine forest near the vineyard. The house had everything provided - cutlery, towels etc. hot tub felt amazing after mountain hikes. Sean was very welcoming and helpful - he lives on a property which was very handy as he could hear up the hot up for us just before our arrival and helped us with bits and pieces. Would recommend this place as it felt nice to be away from suburbia.

Photos don’t do the view justice. Jeremy was a great host. This is a cabin type experience. We stayed in the winter and used the cottage as a home base for skiing and other activities which was great. Quick ride over to Arrowtown and Queenstown but far away enough to feel private and peaceful. Some important points regarding previous reviews I read about the place being “cold”…the ground floor is all slate stone…as Jeremy recommended, just bring some sandals or slippers to wear around. There is a large heat pump, a lovely pot belly stove, and space heaters and all the beds have blanket heaters which we actually didn’t use because they were too hot…so it’s easy to stay warm and the view and coziness are well worth it, but if you’re expecting a thermostat in a hotel room that you set and leave…this wouldn’t be the place for you. We loved our stay and the host was very responsive.

The views are stunning nearby. We could find trace of living in the room, and that made it feel like staying by an auntie’s house. The host was welcoming as well. It was the best airbnb among 3 stays we had in NZ.

Out of all the B&Bs I’ve stayed in, this one is my absolute favorite—so cozy that I hardly wanted to leave! The location is perfect, just a short drive to town, and the lake-view deck offers breathtaking sunset fire clouds. At night, you can lounge on the chair and gaze at the Milky Way. The house is spotless, with modern amenities, and stocked with everything you’d need—it feels even more welcoming than home. The host was incredibly responsive and attentive, replying instantly to every message. I’d love to stay longer next time, and I’ll definitely recommend it to friends!

From the start, Nicole & Vince were so helpful and accommodating. The house was warm and spacious enough for everyone. We were all comfortable and really enjoyed the views. We had all the amenities we needed. The games room, the fire place and the balcony were definitely a hit. The space was beautiful and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay with our friends for the week.

The house was comfortable, cozy, well-equipped, spacious, and sparkling clean, it made us feel right at home. The beds were incredibly comfortable too! The location is wonderfully peaceful, nestled so close to the Remarkables mountain range. We enjoyed the incredible mountain views every day, rain or shine. Although it was only early April, we were lucky enough to see snow-capped peaks for several days during our stay. The view was breathtaking—almost surreal—with the mountains so close, it felt like we could reach out and touch them! We also highly recommend the 30-minute scenic drive up to the Remarkables Ski Area. It’s a great base for exploring Queenstown and the surrounding areas, while avoiding the hustle and bustle of town. Our 11-year-old son loved the two fantastic playgrounds nearby, and there’s a beautiful walking/cycling trail too—perfect for the whole family.
