This private, self contained accommodation surrounded by ancient railway & woodland offers a gorgeous interior with log burning stove, a tranquil setting to get cosy, relax and unwind. With stunning walks on the doorstep and many nearby Somerset landmarks to explore, this is the perfect unique escape to retreat or enjoy time with loved ones.

A quiet luxury getaway

The Cider House is a converted barn tucked away in the village of Pilton, Somerset. It is a large airy and light space. It has a private courtyard and garden, 24 hour under floor heating and hot water. There is a top quality superking bed, excellent for having sleeps in, with hand pressed sheets. To augment heat there's a wood burning stove. We supply and lay a first fire for you with enough logs to get it going after which you can purchase a sack of seasoned logs from us for £10.00 a bag.

Tucked away on the outskirts of sleepy Lympsham, enjoy the countryside around you whilst resting your legs after walking the renowned mendips. Enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the many birds in the surrounding trees or be a little more adventurous with the numerous local cycle routes. We look forward to meeting you on your stay. Surrounding the barn there is a large patio area overlooking our beautiful lake with stunning panoramic views of the Somerset countryside.

Within the grounds of the our property, it is very private and peaceful, with its own garden. It offers a wonderfully relaxing stay with walks in stunning countryside. There is plenty of wildlife around and deer sightings (especially at dusk) are optional! With an award winning pub a short walk away, what more could you want.

This charming Grade II-listed two bedroom maisonette is situated within a row of ancient dwellings, just a short stroll from Wells Cathedral, The Bishop's Palace and the heart of Wells. Each of the two levels are embellished with wonderful authentic details such as original beams, restored timber floorboards and stone fireplaces. Originally built in the 15th century, the house has been sympathetically restored with an abundance of character, comfort and style.
