The outside of the property boasts a beautiful pond and dock to have a relaxing place to sit and enjoy the sunshine and fresh air. This little tree house is primitive with no electricity and no water but has a bath house nearby. This is tent camping in a tree house. Located behind the historic R.M. Brooks Store, it is the perfect place to find peace and beauty . Perfect for hikers. Rest in the huge branches of this nearly 100 year old Oak Tree. A Queen bed awaits you for your restful nights sleep. Underneath you can picnic at the table or swing in the swing that hangs below. This is the perfect place to unplug.

Welcome to The Hive! This is the second unit on our hobby farm and a nature lovers paradise :) Gorgeous views and abundant wildlife both day and night. After parking near the main home you will take a very short (under 300ft) walk down the hill to the 24ft yurt. On the walk down stop and say hello to the farm animals. Inside the yurt you will have all the amenities to keep you entertained and cozy. Venture out to hike, kayak, shop, etc or just stay in with a good book.

Hannsz Hideaway

12/10/25 I’m in the process of doing exterior siding on abnb and my house. There will be a bit of noise during daylight hours. This has now become an active family farm that requires land and livestock maintenance on a daily, you may hear a bit of noise during daylight hours, unless it’s a holiday weekend when my kids visit, those weekends can get a lot louder. I have been trying to keep my kids quiet for nearly 38 years…..if you’re a parent, you understand.

This glass and wood elevated cabin sits beneath giant Oak trees and above mossy boulders. The small single room does not have a bathroom or kitchen. A common area with an outdoor kitchen and bathhouse is less than a minute walk away. The approximately 250 square foot cabin has Oak hard wood floors, ceiling fan, mini fridge and Bluetooth speaker. It is well insulated and stays comfortable even in mid summer without AC.
