The National Mining Museum & Cannon Hall Farm are nearby, Peak District National Park, Leeds, York, Sheffield also within easy reach. Just 1 or 2 miles from M1 Junction 38 & 39. Refurbished to a high standard retaining many original features, with oak beams & open country views.

Long Fall Bothy is a gorgeous stone building on the outskirts of Marsden village in West Yorkshire. Perfect for a walking holiday, the Kirklees Way passes the property and the Pennine Way, Oldham Way are close by. A great place for mountain biking with the Transpennine Trail a few miles away and lots of cycle paths/trails on your doorstep. Local real ale pubs and plenty of cafes in Marsden village a short walk (15 minutes) along the canal. Beautiful scenery, views from the cottage are amazing.

The Tower

The Tower is the perfect romantic high-end getaway for couples who want to get away from it all in a secluded location and fancy just something different. The Tower has recently been converted for use as a holiday let which was previously an unused ancillary building adjacent to The Water Works, an old water treatment plant near Bolsover, converted to domestic use in 2002 and featured on the Channel 4 programme Grand Designs. Surrounded by quaint villages the cottage is set within 25 acres and tennis court. A short drive to the historic towns of Newark and Southwell and the beautiful cathedral city of Lincoln. 20 minutes from the cottage are Sherwood Forest and the Robin Hood Centre and Clumber Park. Sheffield and Leeds are an hour away by car. The cottage features a wonderful moat and has private off road parking. Stabling and horse box parking available at an extra cost.
