Jeanette is a wonderful host. She met us on our arrival and gave us a tour of our rental ensuring that she answered any questions. She is very responsive and quick to answer any follow up. questions or concerns. The space is beautifully decorated and comfortable. The location is great, across the street from Long Island Sound and bordering a large nature preserve. All this and easy access to shops, groceries, and restaurants. We highly recommend this rental.

My family stayed at Johanna's place for one night and everything was perfect. The check in process was easy, the beds were comfortable, and the location was convenient. It's also worth noting that the water pressure in the shower was fantastic. Overall would definitely recommend and stay again!

Had an absolutely wonderful stay! Location is perfect and Jaime was incredibly friendly throughout!! He let me know that they had everything we would need.. but as a self-described obsessive packer I didnt listen. He wasn't kiding! They had beach chairs, umbrellas, and everything else you need for the perfect beach day. I brought an entire wagon of stuff and used one bag. It really is an awesome little find!!

Terrific spot…tucked away and peaceful. Walkable to local establishments. The room is large enough for two and has everything you need for a weekend stay!

The location was amazing and the house was beautiful. One of the nicest air BnB I’ve stayed in!

This place is charming and quite close to the beaches. We enjoyed exploring the area, and dining in town as well as cooking. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware and utensils. The beds are comfy. Everything worked as advertised. We will likely stay here in the future.

Overall a great space, right next to the ocean and silver sands State Park. Easy to find and available parking. Clean and tidy, space as pictured. Shared back yard. Quick and easy communication with owner.

I came for a self care weekend and I left restored. I was great to slow things down and relax with my friends. It was a great girls weekend to rest, catch up and laugh

Very cute Airbnb and location. Clean and wholesome, spacious and nice sized space for a group of 6-8. We were worried about the one bathroom, but with coordination/communication it can work (plus the outdoor shower was a nice perk)! I appreciated the dish washer, full equipped kitchen and the beach chairs provided and table/chairs in the deck. The upstairs AC was also incredible! Downstairs AC unit was trying their best 🙏. Staff also provided a sweet personalized note and number to call if anything else was needed. Felt much at home. If queer/POC, just be mindful that Ocean Bay is not like other parts of Fire Island (Pines or the Grove). Be safe and don’t wander off alone.

Great place, exactly as advertised. Terrific location near ferry dock (making arrival/check-in extremely easy and fast, which was a relief after a long trip to get to Fire Island), near the little main hub of Cherry Grove… minutes or less to the general store, restaurants, bars. 5 minute walk to the beach. Although there is some bar noise at night, the unit is well sound-insulated. Hosts extremely friendly and communicative, full of info and recommendations. They take pride in their place and in being great hosts. Cozy place with very good value for Fire Island. The pool was a nice plus - salt water pool, lit at night. Met some of the other residents in the building who were extremely friendly and fun. Bed was very comfy. We slept in a lot. Wi-Fi worked perfectly. Nice desk in the bedroom for the few times work called. Roku TV. Lots of board games Bedroom has AC which worked great. Beach chairs and towels included. Coin laundry on site worked well. Great value. Would definitely return!

Great little getaway, only wish it could've been longer! My favorite part was having the outdoor deck with a place to sit and take an outdoor shower (plus the grill but we didn't use it). Would definitely stay here again!

the unit was perfect for my husband and myself and was in a very good location by the ferry and restaurants. It even had a rooftop deck to enjoy our wine time. We were close to the beach. We enjoyed walking to the different towns especially Ocean Beach which had shops and restaurants to explore. Anytime we had a question, we were able to contact someone to assist us as this is the first time we used an ABNB. We would definitely rent this unit again.

Nick’s place is the jackpot! My stay was comfortable and peaceful - two of my most important requirements in an airbnb. I had everything I needed, and Nick checked in to make sure my stay was going smoothly. He was also readily available for any questions I had. I loved the ease of attending my workshop at Pioneer Works. While my colleagues were taking Ubers in from other parts of Brooklyn and Manhattan, I had a mere 4 block walk. And the Red Hook neighborhood is a slice of life. I had everything I needed within a few blocks - restaurants, bars,bodegas and a few nice shops. This was an absolutely delightful place to stay, and I look forward to coming back and hopefully staying longer next time.

The spacious condo was spotless and bright with high ceilings. Plenty of room to spread out. Communication with the host was fast, they were very accommodating. The unit was very quiet and comfortable, easy to sleep. The kitchen is well equipped. I hope this will be available next time I’m in the area!
