I just got back from the most peaceful stay at this cozy little cottage in the hills, and honestly, it was the perfect getaway. The place was super quiet and calm, and every morning I woke up to the sound of birds chirping—it felt like a dream. The cottage itself was so cozy, like a little home away from home. The best part? The food! It was amazing—fresh, delicious, and you could tell it was made with love. Every meal was a treat. Surrounded by flowers everywhere, it was like being in a postcard. The colorful blooms and green hills made it all so picturesque. If you’re looking for a peaceful, nature-filled escape with yummy food, this place is definitely it. I already can’t wait to go back!

Wow! I booked for a week but added a second week. That says it all. Ramesh is an amazing host: very friendly, speaks good English, non-intrusive but always ready to help with anything you need. The home-made food is delicious. The kitchen has everything you need so you can also make your own food. On clear days, the views of the snowcapped Himalaya are mind-boggling. It's a walk to get there but once you do, you do not want to leave. It's a little outside Almora which adds to the peaceful atmosphere. I cannot recommend it enough and will definitely come back.

I came here as solo ... didn't expect so much.. seriously it's amazing place ...i would say wow is less than that...surrounding is pristine,pure nature....Such a BLISS Perfect place to unwind & Soak yourself in nature What more one can ask for River ,waterfall ,nature ... We had a really wonderful experience at Misty mountains. Our hosts Madhur and Ambika and their team were very thoughtful and pleasure to speak to. Food was simple yet really delicious.
