Visit us at our redwood homestead to experience modern country living. Our cabin is nestled between tall groves on an acre of land just outside of town. We have chickens, a koi pond, fruit trees, and are surrounded by an abundance of wildlife. Both the National Park and ocean are less then a 10 minute drive away, making this the ideal spot to recharge in between adventures. We are located inside the Redwood State & National Parks. This property is remodeled with custom Redwood details throughout. Smith River - Riverfront Retreat

Located on the beautiful Smith River*. Fully furnished. 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom. Spacious living room with large windows providing beautiful views of the the river. Refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, blender, toaster, ironing board/iron, washer and dryer. Wifi, Roku with streaming channels (bring your login info for Hulu, Amazon, Netflix, etc). * river is not accessible from the home however there is access about 1 mile down the road. Please do not try to access river from our property.

Red Barn 5 mins to the River, Ocean & Redwoods!

You won’t forget the peaceful surroundings of this rustic destination. Located 3 miles from the pristine Smith River, Redwood National Park and the beach. Everything is there you might need during your stay. The barn is tastefully fully furnished with a well equipped kitchen in a country setting with outdoor seating, fire pit, hammocks and a gas grill for a relaxing getaway enjoying the outdoors. Beach chairs and beach towels are provided for your enjoyment.

Gayle's Garden Cottage

A tiny house cottage set in a garden amongst the redwoods, surrounded by rhodies, maples, birch and apple trees. Beautiful in all seasons. The cottage is foam insulated and thus very quiet for a good night's sleep. I use fragrance free detergent on linens. The queen bed (3 layers of high density memory foam mattresses) is in a loft, accessible by an angled loft ladder with handhold cutouts (not suitable for infants or children). Nema 14-50 plug available.

This cozy little get away is perfectly comfortable for your next visit to the redwoods or to check out the ocean. The Wildflower Hideaway is a retreat that’s tucked away form the stressors of your day to day. You’ll relax, unwind, and enjoy this space that’s all your own.
