Cute place and very clean. Note that the cat requires some care (e.g., being let in and out, refilling the food bowl) which was concerning for us as the weather was very cold and we were away from the house for most of the day and did not want to leave her out in the cold for 12-14 hours at a time. She is very affectionate, tends to want to sleep in the bed, and may wake you up throughout the night. There are lots of scented things around the house (plug-in air fresheners, aromatic pillow sprays, essential oils, etc.) which can be problematic for those of us with sensitivities to artificial fragrances. The house is not well set up for early morning coffee drinkers. There is a deli near by but the coffee is not very good and the market across the street does not open until 8am. We ended up getting our own coffee pot.

This is my third time at Jesse's place and definitely not the last. The location is perfect, close to everything Philly has to offer. The space is perfect for reaxing after a long day wandering the old city and there are plenty of great places to have a drink and a bite to eat. The room is clean, quiet, private and comfortable and Jesse is a great host. I can't recommend it enough.

What a lovely little cottage, super clean and cozy! The bed is very comfortable, the place is clean and I loved the little "extras" like the drinks in the fridge, coffees, shampoo etc in the bathroom. Beautiful place! Thanks for sharing it with us!

Stayed at Barn Door Cottage for a family wedding. From the time of booking, Devon was helpful, responsive and easy to communicate with. From booking to check-in, the directions were clear and straight-forward, which made settling in for the weekend all the easier. The house is adorable and decorated in the area’s motif and is homey, warm and welcoming. Will look to stay again for the next family trip to New Hope/Lambertville!

Elliot's place was better than the pictures! conveniently located with lots to do and eat in surrounding towns. Our dog loved running up and down the deck and having the electric charger was such piece of mind. Elliot sent great recommendations as well. Very thoughtful Airbnb with fully stocked coffee bar and plenty of blankets and towels.

The farmhouse is a unique, spacious property. It was perfect for us and our daughter, her husband and two children. Our grandchildren loved watching the geese on the pond and sometimes we saw deer running by. The owners were responsive to any of our questions. We appreciate being able to enjoy this property during the Christmas holiday and New Years holiday. I highly recommend this comfortable farmhouse!

This place was sooo fun for my kids! The animal care taker Erin was amazing!!! She really made the trip special for my kids. Would not have been the same experience with out her. She took so much time with us and was so wonderful with the animals and letting our kids be around them.

Very much enjoyed staying at Lloyd’s place. A peaceful location, yet 10-15 minutes away from “civilization”. House was very comfortable and well stocked with the essentials.

I recently just spent one month at Edward’s place and loved every minute of it. As other reviewers have noted, the layout is a little nontraditional, as you enter through a small sunroom and then go directly into the bedroom, then the living room/kitchen with the bathroom at the back. The kitchen was stocked with basic pots/pans, glassware, and dishes. The real gem of this listing is it’s location- it was next to a large park with many adorable dogs, the main strip of Chestnut Hill 2 min walk, a market, a playground, and easy parking around the vicinity. It offered a great home base to explore Philadelphia with good access to bus lines and the train if you did not have a car. Additionally, since I was at this spot for an entire month I needed additional supplies (ie mop) which Edward promptly ordered to the house. I look forward to returning to this spot next time work brings me to Philly!
