We have a large yard with a patio near the carriage house, covered porch, grill, bbq pit, bocce court, and outdoor living room (summer). We have a dog that has yard access. Location, location, location. This bohemian chic space is the 1600 sq ft lower half of a 2 story duplex in the heart of the Corktown Historic District. This space has everything you need for a short or long stay on what is arguably one of the safest streets in the city, walking distance to a plethora of bars and restaurants and a 5 min rideshare to all the downtown venues. In other words, close to all the action, but a quiet, peaceful place to retreat at the end of a day of adventure.

The Lavender House

Come relax at the Lavender House's upper flat! The space is overflowing with old world charm, hardwood floors, stained glass, and a large balcony facing downtown Detroit. The house was built in 1900. It is nestled next to an ambling flower garden and wooded area, with ample space for outdoor hangs. There is a fire pit and playscape for the little ones. We are just 2 miles from downtown so you can enjoy what the city has to offer, then unwind in this lovely urban countryside.
