Our lovely cottage is as beautiful and peaceful as the photos. With gorgeous water views, it's a wonderful place to relax, walk on the beach, cook dinner and drink wine while watching the sun set. It's cozy and unforgettable, just 90 minutes from Grand Central on Metro North. First bedroom has a queen-size bed, and the second bedroom has a full-size bed. An extra-long twin in a quiet corner of the living area is both a daybed and extra accommodation. The bathroom has a shower and claw foot tub.

This 625 sqft fully furnished studio apartment has its own private entrance and sleeps 2-3 with a queen bed and Murphy bed. Other than outside, there is no contact with other people (hosts, other guests, etc) possible unless the guest allows such. The unit consists of a living room, dining space (breakfast basics provided), kitchen, full bathroom/laundry. Walk to Fairfield U; an easy train ride to NYC. (Need the Murphy bed? PLEASE do not wait until just before checkin to let us know that!)

Originally from Russia (hence the name “Beriozka” meaning Birch Tree) I live in Stamford CT. About 7-8 years ago I’ve discovered Chester/ Essex area and fell in love. I’ve been coming here during summer to enjoy river rides, during winter just to see snow on the ground of old towns and needless to say during fall – when all the beauty of nature unfolds. Then came an idea to have an own place here and when an opportunity came to buy this small cottage on Cedar Lake I’ve jumped on it.
