There are more than 13 eateries all within 5 minutes drive away. A private walkway down to the beach. Plus the best Ice Cream shop within walking distance! Perfect location to explore the Far North.

Old Fashioned Stunner

Original, Kiwi, 50's family bach with its own direct access to Coopers Beach. Rumpty, but comfy, and sitting on a large private section with room for cars and a boat. The bach is very private and quiet. It has magnificent uninterrupted views across Doubtless Bay, and you can walk down to the beach via a private path through the trees in 2 minutes. The bach has a heat pump, heaters and lots of blankets so that it remains cosy at night. We think it's the perfect place for a relaxing getaway!

Fully fenced, down a quiet cul de sac in Whatuwhiwhi, overlooking Perehipe Bay, on the beautiful Karikari Peninsula. A few minutes walk in gorgeous native bush to a lovely safe swimming beach. Or drive right to beach. Perfect calm bay for swimming and paddleboarding etc. Launch the boat off the beach ramp, spend the day fishing in Doubtless Bay or go out wide for game fish or off the rocks at the beach.

Hihi Beach - Sunset on Peninsula Studio apartment

Ground floor studio apartment - below our home in the quaint village of Hihi beach. 10 minute drive to Mangonui. Opens to a lovely garden and street. The studio entails a comfortable queen bed, a 3 seater sofa bed, wardrobe. Kitchen comprises of a table & chairs, electric frypan, hotplate, microwave, toaster, fridge, tea coffee etc. Bathroom has shower, toilet and vanity. The apartment opens to a lovely deck with a BBQ, it's sunny and private. Great beaches, walks, parks, great fishing.

Watch the sun across the ocean from the tip of Cape Reinga the northernmost point of NZ - visible from this cabin, then the sunset behind Ahipara. By night enjoy the stars as little light disturbs your view in this hilltop setting.

If you are after a relaxing holiday experience surrounded by nature, but want more creature comforts than camping can provide, then this beautiful open plan deck and separate cabin is just for you! Tucked away in a garden oasis, this property has a seaview over Mill Bay and across to the Karikari Peninsula. The spacious covered deck for entertaining includes a fully powered utility with kitchen, bathroom and laundry.

Russell Outback Eco lodge is a beautifully designed space where you can kick back and enjoy all that nature has to offer, amazing night skies, sit by the fire and listen to the kiwis in the bush, relax while the children play in the tree houses and give yourself a digital detox, all the while leaving barely more than a foot print on the planet. Ahipara Surf Breaks

My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with kids). We have easy access to the property with a lock up double garage plus off street parking (even for a boat). The beach is only a short walk from the house. We live in a house on the same property so we are always available to help with any questions you have. Surfboards and boogie boards are available for use free of charge.

Our Apartment is situated within walking distance of two beaches, cafes, bars and nightlife in Paihia. It is only a 5 minute walk to where you can hire bikes, kayaks and sailboards. A further 5 minutes will have you arriving at the centre of town where you will be able to book fishing trips, parasailing, ferry ride to Russell and scenic helicopter flights over the Bay of Islands.
