Outdoor lovers will get the best of both worlds here- escape to a cabin in the woods while also being right on the water! Water levels are back to normal so you can enjoy taking out the kayaks! There’s stocked firewood for campfires, board games, & propane for grilling!

There are trails to hike, a creek to visit, and nature to commune with. We are 8 miles from Lake D’Arbonne, 10 miles from West Monroe, and 22 miles from Ruston. Well behaved pets are welcome as we are animal lovers ourselves. Solitude offers a great alternative to city life. Come relax by the fire, enjoy the sunsets, hike, or just rest.

Built in the early 1900s, The Preaus House is boasting with character. From 12' ceilings to original hardwood floors, there are unique attributes in each room. There are 4 beautifully colored (non-functional) fireplaces in all the downstairs bedrooms, a claw foot tub/shower combination, rare cork tiles in the den, custom cabinetry, and a fabulous farmhouse kitchen sink. Room for parking up to 4 vehicles and boats or utility trailers is available.
