The yard is very lush with native oaks and flowers and there is a designated area for guests. We are located 2 blocks from the main boulevard which has many shops and restaurants. Just leave the car and walk to dinner.

Located in the hip and fun neighborhood of Highland Park, close to downtown LA, Pasadena, Glendale, and s short drive to Hollywood and Santa Monica. Close to freeways and public transportation.

Little Los Angeles Hideaway

Glass doors open onto a patio with lush trees, succulents, lounge chairs and a gas-operated firepit. Our studio in-law has a midcentury modern meets tree house feel to it. This little hideaway is completely detached from the main house and has its own separate entrance. A private bathroom is adjacent to the studio. While there isn't a stove for cooking, there is a small refrigerator, freezer, electric kettle, Kerug coffee maker, and microwave in the space.

Studio Cottage

This is a small Studio cottage at the rear of my home. It's craftsmanesk in style with a partially open ceiling and a skylight. It's perfect for a couple or single person. There is a swimming pool but it's not heated, fine for swimming June to Oct depending on the weather, unless you are a polar bear. It's a 5 min walk to the MetroGold Line and a 10 min walk to new restaurants on Figueroa St. I have a fairly extensive cactus / succulent garden.

Highland Park Bungalow

Come stay in the downstairs unit of a historic 1920s California Style Bungalow. 7 min away from the the heart of Highland Park surrounded by restaurants, live music and LA's oldest bowling alley. There is a SEPARATE ENTRANCE and a beautiful back patio overlooking the garden. Extremely quiet and peaceful cul-de-sac for privacy and escaping the business of the city.
