Great time as always! We’ve stayed here twice now. Such a peaceful stay and serene while being close to the store/essentials.

This place was an absolute dream! Between the hot springs, sauna, the stunning views, and that peaceful little spot by the river, it completely regulated our nervous systems—what a treat! The beds and pillows were also chef’s kiss—so comfy! Can’t wait to come back.

The place was super clean and we loved outside jacuzzi! My son used it every morning and night during the stay. Sal was very responsive and we had great stay! We'll come back here on next visit!

My husband and I went to celebrate our anniversary and this was the perfect place. The cabin is so beautiful with a nice decoration and very comfortable and clean. The hot tub is the perfect touch we truly enjoyed. I totally recommend this place ❤️

Great house, great location and sparkling clean! At first, we were thinking that there is nowhere to walk our dog. We like very long walks at least three times a day. Next day we found the pass to the other part of the neighborhood with unlimited amount of trails along the river and in the forest. It is just couple minutes away from the house. Our favorite forest entrance is the one dedicated to Ladybug dog. It is a very nice pass to the river. The living room has big enough table for the board games nights. I see that some people complain about the mattress. It is memory foam one. You either like this type or you don’t in general. It worked perfectly for me, though my husband complained it is too soft for him. Kids really liked upstairs beds. The house also equipped with everything for the dogs. We didn’t need it as we bring everything for our pup as we travel a lot and many houses don’t have dog items. You will find: bowls, towels, poop bags, etc. Thank you for having us!

We had a wonderful time! Such a cozy and peaceful place, surrounded by nature’s beauty. We appreciated the local recommendations, and really enjoyed evenings around the fire and in the hot tub. Just what we needed, we hope to come back soon!

This home is located off Beaver Drive and was very quiet in the off season, May. Plenty of linens, the kitchen was well stocked with everything you might need including spices. The home was very clean. A nice large gas fireplace, plenty of room in the dining room. Private hot tub. Large family living area. 2 small complete bathrooms. Laundry room. All supplies included. Bicycles, ping pong table in garage, books, puzzles, art supplies for children, DVDs, 2 TVs. Loft had 2 twin beds. It was enjoyable and provided serenity to watch the deer roam in front & back several times during the day. Easy walk to SunRiver Village. Pretty blooming daffodils in the front. I highly recommend. Michel is a great host & quick to help and communicates quickly.

Merry was responsive when I accidentally tried to enter the wrong property. It was late and she was available to help. Loved the property and location. Will rent again.

Our family had a great week in two of the cabins. Loved being so close to the river and within walking distance to downtown. Great location.

My partner and I can’t get enough of Squirreville—it’s our go-to escape from the “real world.” The moment we step into the cabin, we’re wrapped in this incredible sense of warmth and ease. The property itself is stunning, and the landscapes beyond are breathtaking. Cam and Christine are the kindest hosts—always so thoughtful, responsive, and genuinely dedicated to making sure every guest feels right at home. It’s pure magic every time we visit- I cannot recommend this place enough!

Cute cabin in a private location yet not too far off of the beaten path! Perfect for a couple looking for a getaway or to explore the Colombia River Gorge. Host was very generous and hospitable, the farm fresh eggs and ample snacks were amazing! The cabin has all modern amenities including heat, AC, and a hot shower along with 2 tvs! The loft bed is up a steep ladder so some nimbleness is required, but it was not an issue for us and was very comfy!

Awesome host!Great location an hour from Portland and an hour from Mt hood and 30 mins from Trillium lake and 1 hr from Multnomah falls. Definitely a getaway from the hustle bustle if you stay in a city.Everything seems to be in line with description.Not too far from all the restaurants and groceries if you are travelling with kids.We just stayed 1 night and couldn't get enough of it.Will Definitely go back again

Peaceful, quiet cabin near White Salmon—perfect for a relaxing getaway. Surrounded by trees with the soothing sound of the river in the background, it’s cozy, clean, and a great place to unplug and recharge. Simple, comfortable, and ideal for slowing down.

Three girlfriends & I were looking for a place to stay in Garden Valley as we had tickets to Starlight Mountain Theatre. This was the perfect spot for us. It was clean, comfortable, and Angie was a very communicative hostess.

We were very pleased with the scenic location and tranquil nature of the cabin provided and Kerri and her partner. The property was very spacious and we were given free rein to explore. Our dogs absolutely loved the place and, after meeting Kerri's dogs and their chickens and horses, I'm sure they were very disappointed to have to leave. While we did not give ourselves enough time to fully explore their little part of the world, the mountains, canyons, and rivers we were able to visit were as amazing as can be expected in that beautiful part of Oregon. The cabin was cozy and warm and had more amenities than we expected for such a rustic and "off-grid" location.

Just like other reviews have said, pictures do not do this beautiful space justice. The bed was very comfortable and the wood stove was excellent. Some extra amenities included 40L of water, a very nice cooler, plenty of firewood, a towel for the outdoor shower, and a clean and well stocked porta-potty. The cabin also came with some grilling utensils, two pans, a kettle, and a french press. We wished we had brought more of a camp kitchen (plates, bowls, silverware), but otherwise this space was perfect. Bring binoculars if you want some excellent bird watching! We can't wait to visit again.

Patty & Witek's place was just as described. They went had cupcakes and beautiful card waiting for us. ( It was our 53rd Anniversary getaway). That was just so thoughtful. The wildlife was so great to watch in the yard. Hope we get a chance to stay again.

Wonderfully appointed modern “cabin” perch high in a hill overlooking several mountains. Can’t wait to come back!

We had a great stay. Jill was very accommodating, responding to messages quickly about different questions we had pre trip. Snow shoeing the trail system, accessible from the cabin, was a highlight of the trip. The wood stove was just right providing plenty of comfort for the cold nights. Plan ahead and don’t stoke the fire before heading to the loft for bed, it will roast you out! Log cabin holds the heat well all night before needing the next fire in the am. All the things needed for a comfy and low maintenance stay. Thanks Jill.

The perfect location for a little getaway. It was cozy and peaceful! Andrea and Darreld were great hosts, they have great communication and are very friendly! I would highly recommend staying here and we definitely plan on booking here again.
