We absolutely loved our stay at the cottage! The owners were super responsive in regard to any questions we had prior to arrival as well. The cottage was extremely clean and lovely to stay in. The hot tub was definitely a hit for us as this was super relaxing and enjoyable with the rain we had throughout our stay! We also loved the thoughtfulness they put in by including bread, eggs and milk upon arrival in the fridge for us to use!! The cottage was located beside the lake and had beautiful views to look at and was super peaceful and quiet! My husband and I will definitely be back to stay again, and will be telling our friends and family about this place!

Our weekend at this truly beautiful and magnificent location. John is a great host, really lovely and easy to chat to. We really enjoyed his stories and sharing how our stay was going. Our days were filled with beauty and magic, all the little touches made a huge difference. Sitting in the spa, wandering to the waterhole, lazing on the grounds, games by the fire and cooking dinner on the bbq. We wandered into bellingen markets and also explored viewpoints and walks. So stunning! It was absolutely the most perfect weekend away. Would love to go back! Thanks again John, many fond memories 🧡

Great place to relax and unwind with complete privacy! Outdoor bath is unreal to star gaze or watch the setting sun from! Plenty of space to play some lawn games, enjoy the peaceful nature outlook and even have a dip in the creek! Comfortable unit with full kitchen which I always appreciate! Agnes it was a delight and you’re a wonderful host, thank you!

It was a very nice secluded place. We had asked if we could check in early and they kindly let us. The place was spotless and very inviting.

What a beautiful setting, my daughter and I absolutely loved the animals and we wish we had of been able to spend more time at the cottage, but my daughter had a competition on for the weekend. Kim, Michelle and family were all so lovely, we really enjoyed our tour around the property on the buggy, and the delicious chocolate cake and company. My daughter loved helping feed the horses and the cows. We will definitely return one day with the rest of our family! Highly recommend!

We loved Sam’s place! The home is very charming- tastefully renovated, clean, spacious for our family of 4. The view from the deck over the paddocks is spectacular. Sam and his wife were extremely friendly and welcoming- they arranged laundry detergent as soon as we asked for it, showed us around their place, and introduced us to their cows, guineapigs, dogs and chicken. Overall a five star experience, highly recommended!

Had a fabulous weekend at Lisa's place. Surroundings were stunning despite the rain. The outdoor bath was the star, watching the mist roll in over the hills. Hard to describe how magical the cottage is. If you are looking for a peaceful weekend, off the beaten track but also close to local amenities, cafes and restaurants this is one for you

My husband and had the pleasure of spending a week at the cottage to relax and rejuvenate after a very busy month. The location is perfectly serene and peaceful. Our hosts were very responsive and ensured that the cottage was well stocked. Everything we needed was there, and Sam assured us that if we needed anything that she could help us out. The fully fenced yard was thoroughly enjoyed by our labradoodle. She had fun trying to figure out exactly what the fluffy animals with beards and horns were all about (friendly goats). We loved the space that offered a range of views and areas to relax and read in. We also enjoyed the walks and the peaceful sounds of nature, including the soothinfg sound of the rapids from the surrounding creeks (there had just been a lot of rain and plenty of water flowing). I highly recommend anyone who wants to spend time in nature with all the luxuries of a comfy bed, cozy fire pit and a clawfoot tub to take the time to escape to the valley cottage.

We were not able to stay at Anna’s due to the cyclone. She was very great at communicating with updates and was very flexible options for rebooking.

Fantastic Place. Loved absolutely everything. Huge bonus that we could have our beloved doggo with us. The pool and Tennis court were well used by us as was the back verandah where we ate, played games and just chilled. Will definitely be booking again in the future.

The cottage is very cute and cosy. The host clearly loves her garden which makes a lovely outlook, and the neighbourhood is very quiet. It’s a short drive to all the beaches in Valla and the two cafes. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom clean. The bed was very comfortable and the linen fresh and crisp. The house is full of little friendly touches which add personality. It was a great base for visiting family who live nearby and enjoying the beautiful beaches of Valla. A very pleasant place to stay.

This was our second stay at Skye - enjoyed it as much as the first (if not more, because we booked an extra night this time). Water was the perfect temperature for a couple of swims (half hour drive to beautiful Hat Head). Great option if you want some quiet time away.

We loved staying at this cosy cottage with our kids. The farm and surrounds are beautiful and there were plenty of local places to explore. Hugh and Janniene went out of their way to make us feel welcome and show us their farm. We really appreciated the kids toys, fireplace and beautiful outlook. We left feeling relaxed and refreshed.

This is not my first time visiting the area, but my first stay in the village of Ebor. I don’t think you could ask for much more if you’re looking for peace, quiet, beautiful surroundings and mountain weather. The cottage is quaint, homely and has everything one could possibly need, 6 nights just wasn’t enough… Thanks again Lesley for sharing such a delightful property.

Nicer than the photos, walk to grocery stores and local stores. Comfy bed. Thanks for having us

We had the most amazing stay at this hidden gem, a cottage on a beautiful farm. The location is absolutely stunning with serene views everywhere you look. The cottage itself was clean, spacious, and so cozy, offering the perfect place (home away from home) to unwind and relax. Julie provided everything we needed, and the kids especially loved the toys she had available. The whole family had a great time, the peace and quiet were exactly what we needed. Julie was a fantastic host, incredibly responsive and helpful, always available whenever we needed anything. Truly a perfect experience, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in nature.

Lovely home … bright and cheerful and just like the photos … garden was secure and private. Beds comfy and amenities well set up. A little too far to walk into town but a very short drive, so all good. Lisa was very responsive and amenable to deal with. Also put milk in the fridge, left appropriate toiletries etc and went in early to put the heaters on to make sure it was cosy for our arrival.

Above and beyond. Stephen and Jude really put 110% in hosting their Airbnb. It's something you don't see often. The place was sweaky clean, which is hard to believe for a place that hosts so many pets! The attention to detail is impeccable, it's well stocked, and they provided a few treats for us and our doggo. The property is beautiful and the cabin is cosy. We spent a few days working there and had no issues with internet, even with video calls. Thanks so much for having us!

If you’re travelling to Walcha for work, consider this cottage. It’s a nice alternative to a motel or room at the pub.

We stayed at Aline’s place after 5 days of camping over Easter and it was just what we were looking for, peaceful, off grid, and super comfortable. The place had everything we needed, the bath outdoor was just amazing, and the creek, despite the rain, was a gorgeous spot. It was definitely an adventure for us, being transported with the tractor because the rain had risen the water level too high we couldn’t cross with the car, it was fun! 😀 something to remember for sure. Aline was super responsive and the direction to get there were super easy, and both her and Eppie were such a lovely host, always insuring we had what we needed. If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing place for your next trip, we really recommend this, because even though it almost rained the whole time, this place has still so much to offer.
