The town is situated at the base of the rolling Catskills within the Shawangunk valley. Within the cottage, there is a pellet stove that will be lit on chilly nights upon request. Come for peace, privacy, and relaxation that's only 2 hours from NYC. Cottage, 1 Bedroom, two floors, 800 sq. ft., full bath, fully furnished with a deck and patio furniture. Set back in the woods on a shared property off a beautiful farm road in Kerhonkson. 10 minutes away from the Shawangunk mountains and amazing options for hikes.

Take a leisurely walk under the towering trees in the quiet wooded acre surrounding our cozy, alpine-inspired cabin with contemporary bohemian touches. Sleep in upstairs under deep-set skylights, observe wildlife out our large picture windows, or curl up by the fire on the rustic screened porch. Daydream on our hammock or dine alfresco taking advantage of our barbeque. On a clear night, it is easy to stargaze up through the tall trees, perhaps while toasting marshmallows fireside.

Shawangunk House

The house was built in 2018. It is very modern and open. It is located 8 minutes from Minnewaska State Park, 10 minutes from the Mohonk Preserve, and 30 minutes from the Catskills. There is a Smart TV. There is also a record player with a large record selection. There is strong WIFI and great cell phone coverage from all carriers. We have an EV level 2 charger. There is an additional charge to use the charger. Please contact us if you want to add charging to your stay.
