Swinburne Castle is perfectly situated within its own beautiful parkland and gardens. Traditionally decorated, parts of the house have tremendous history dating back to the 12th century. The east wing is extremely comfortable and private, and don't be perturbed by the stone steps leading down to the vaulted cellar. A delicious continental breakfast will be provided in your rooms. Located within walking distance of a remote outstretched beach and just a few miles from the coastal village of Alnmouth and historical village of Warkworth. Alnmouth train station is only a 5 minute drive. From here you can travel directly to Edinburgh in 1 hour. The studio features an open plan sleeping/ living area with a kitchen.

Wildhope View: A detached, characterful, stone cottage - especially for two. Located in the historic hamlet of Bilton, a stone’s throw away from the vibrant village of Alnmouth. A wonderful spot from which to explore the rugged Northumbrian coastline, idyllic countryside and magnificent, enchanted castles. Wildhope View is a cosy, romantic retreat with spectacular views of the rolling hills of the Aln valley and the, “18 arches” viaduct built in 1849 by Robert Stephenson.

Ulgham Grange Holiday Cottage, Northumberland

Beautiful rural cottage in the small village of Ulgham just outside Morpeth. This old railway house is situated at the Ulgham Grange Railway crossing within the beautiful Northumberland country side with access to lovely walks straight out the door. We have the pleasure of seeing classic steam engines such as the Royal Scot travelling passed from the comfort of the upstairs bedrooms. Very clean beaches of Cresswell and Druridge bay are easily accessible by car and bicycle.

The Byre, Bog Mill Cottages, edge of Alnwick

The Byre at Bog Mill, Alnwick is situated down a quarter mile private track and overlooks the River Aln, on the outskirts of Alnwick and three miles from coast. A spacious self contained cottage for two with double bedroom. Open plan living area with feature arched windows overlooking the garden. Safe parking is adjacent to the cottage and secure storage for bicycles is available. EV charger available. WiFi is free of charge within the cottage. No smoking. No pets.

A stones throw away from Warkworth castle where you will stumble among the local pubs, cafes and restaurants.
