Qué harás

1. We will meet at the entrance of the Cuemanco dock in Xochimilco, next to a Virgin of Guadalupe (in the photo below) to introduce ourselves and learn about the adventure to live. We will have around 10 minutes to go to the restroom or buy something before boarding.
2. We will board the trajinera (boat decorated with flowers) for an extraordinary journey through the ancient canals of Xochimilco (world heritage site by UNESCO) about 1 hour and 45 min en route to the Tlilac lagoon, within an ecological reserve.
3. During the journey through the millenary canals, as an experienced archaeologist and anthropologist, I will lead you on a journey through time to the origins of the Xochimilcas and their relationship with the Mexicas (the culture below Mexico City) and the Mexica with the great empire that dominated almost all of ancient Mexico as well as the Spanish conquest and the different historical stages until reaching the present time with its legends and traditions. All this in a fun and enjoyable way. I will give you a QR code so you can get maps and images from your cell phone that will help you better understand our time travel. You will have access to information that a tour guide cannot give you and you can to ask me all your questions. meanwhile you will taste a packed snack and a water or bottled juice or beer and I will give you a mariachi song to liven up our trip.
