I had an amazing stay! The location was perfect—close to major attractions yet tucked away off of the main road. The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The host was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and full of great local recommendations. Drew was proactive to all of my needs. The rooftop terrace offered stunning city views and Galata Tower over the buildings, making it the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Die 85 Stufen des alten Hauses lohnen sich zu erklimmen, denn man wird mit einem fantastischen Blick und einer schönen Wohnung belohnt. Die Badezimmer sind winzig klein, dafür hat man aber zwei wunderbare Terrassen, einen großen Wohnbereich mit einer praktischen Küche und zwei schönen Schlafzimmern. Alles ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Wenn man die Fenster geschlossen hält, bekommt man den Trubel, der bis spät in die Nacht hinein zu hören ist aus diesem netten, sehr zentrale gelegenen Stadtteil, nicht mehr mit. Für junge Leute die das Party Leben von Istanbul genießen wollen, eine traumhafte Unterkunft. Nur wenige Schritte vom Ufer des Bosporus entfernt, rund um überall Restaurants. Efkan ist sehr bemüht und jederzeit ansprechbar und reagiert sehr schnell auf alle Fragen. Er ist ein hervorragender Gastgeber. Sogar die Heizung hat er uns angemacht, weil es an den Tagen recht frisch war, an denen wir da waren. Efkan und seine Wohnung sind zu empfehlen.

It’s a fun, boho space with lots of room to spread out in. I will say it needs a bit of a refresh and the host is aware. Here’s hoping the minor updates that need updating will be done soon. I definitely would go back.

Nilay and Sencer's appartment is very nice, clean and having a local spirit. We were welcomed warmly by Sencer. The tram and bus stops are very close: less than 5 minutes away and you would need 10-15 minutes to reach Galata. If you arrive in Istanbul by car - there's a paid parking nearby that can be used for 15 EUR/24h. We also enjoyed a lot our visit to Sencer's Pizzarotti restaurant, where we had the pleasure to taste his local pizza inventions and have a conversation.

Ich bin sehr zufrieden gewesen mit der Unterkunft. Alles war wie beschrieben und Kerem Can war zu jederzeit erreichbar und hat alles erfüllt, wie es sich für einen Gastgeber gehört.

Excellent séjour chez Mehmet, le logement est idéalement situé à côté de la tour Galata, à 10 minutes à pieds du vieux Istanbul. Le logement était très propre, la terrasse est un vrai plus. Il y a toutes les commodites au pied de l’immeuble. La rue est calme la nuit, nous n’avons pas du tout été gêné par le bruit malgré le quartier dynamique aux alentours. Mehmet s’est montré très réactif et nous a aidé dans notre recherche de taxi.

Great value and location for our group. Beds were good enough for one night. Hosts were responsive to any and all requests. Hot water in showers and towels were freshness The apartment is spacious, clean, and warm, suitable for a group of 6 on a vacation. Beautiful house. Really nicely done for comfort and quality. Really welcoming and very helpful host. The lounge is a little cosy for more than three people, but we (four) made it work well enough and there's plenty of space otherwise. Some lovely shops just down the road, very easy to pop out to buy breakfast etc. Just a few minutes walk from Tram 5, which goes to the Spice market. Very firm beds which we liked, lots of little extra touches, such as slippers, exfoliating pads, napkins, bottled water. Made it feel quite lux! Loved it - would definitely go back!

A great host, very communicative and helpful. The apartment is in a good location, but it's very local. We enjoyed it, but it's not for everyone. The apartment itself matched the description but needs a bit of TLC. The design is a little strange with each room being a self contained unit with its own fridge and sink, and some of the areas are a little worn. Overall a great experience.

The place within a walking distance to Takseem and Galata tower. Murat has been very supportive and helpful. Whenever we needed help and guidance he was responsive and helpful. Very good option for big groups.

We stayed in this place for six days and we had a great time. The house is in an excellent location specially for younger people. The house is as great as it is presented in the pictures and has all the utilities as described.

Hands-down, one of the best places I’ve stayed with Airbnb. It was spacious and cozy at the same time. Perfect for a couple or you can be together but also have your own space. Huge bathroom that felt like a wine cave. And fantastic location, short walk to Galata tower, restaurants and the T1
