Amazing cottage! unique and thoughtful! loved it!

We had an absolutely magical stay at this lakeside cottage! The attention to detail in the space was remarkable, with every corner thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation. The kitchen was well-stocked, making it a joy to cook meals, and the wood-burning fireplace added the perfect cozy touch for our winter evenings. The views were breathtaking—each window felt like looking at a postcard, with stunning vistas of the lake and surrounding nature. Laura's hospitality truly stood out; she went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for a memorable stay. The location is unbeatable. Being just a short drive to Algonquin Park allowed us to enjoy some fantastic hikes with our dog and we loved returning to the peaceful setting of the cottage afterward. This cottage is a gem, and we can't wait to return. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a serene getaway or a cozy work-from-home option.

Our stay at Lisa’s place was wonderful despite the power outage towards the end of our trip due to bad weather. The house was cozy, clean, and very comfortable. Lisa was incredibly helpful, kind, and considerate throughout our stay. She genuinely cares about her guests and went above and beyond to ensure we were okay. I can confidently say that she's one of the best host I've ever encountered. Overall, we had a great experience, and we highly recommend this place to anyone. This is a beautiful spot, quite private and spacious! We loved the view from the big windows and porches! I hope we can return some time for another enjoyable vacation.

Words cannot describe how impressed we were with Laughing Moose. The minute I walked in the front door I felt I could live here for ever. The incredible views, the spacious kitchen the stylish little pieces of decor make this place comfortable, relaxing and luxury. Janice pays attention to every little detail to ensure we had a fabulous time! From the selection of quality glasses, crockery and cooking utensils to the games and puzzles ( we completed a full jig saw puzzle between us) we had everything we could possibly need and much more. Even a thoughtful and delicious blueberry pie to welcome us !! We were visiting from Australia and planned this weekend with our two sons and families for a getaway together. It couldn’t have been more perfect and we made such fabulous memories. So much space for all 8 of us plus the 2 dogs! I can’t thank you enough for this special visit! Great spot for a relaxing time with the kids. Small beach perfect for very little ones, nice park and basketball all right there. Unit is well equipped and very clean. Thanks for a nice weekend in Bobcaygeon!

L’endroit est tres calme et correspond bien a la description. C’est plaisant de pouvoir avoir accès au lac et a des embarcations sans frais. Les instructions que j’ai reçues étaient très s clair. Seul petit bémol il manquait les coussin du dossier au divan ce qui le rend tres inconfortable autrement j’ai vraiment apprécié mon séjour. Merci

Cindy und Desmond waren sehr freundliche und proaktive Gastgeber und haben uns einige Tipps und Wanderrouten für die Umgebung geschickt. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, gut ausgestattet und wirklich gemütlich. Vor allem die Küche hatte alles, was wir zum Kochen vor Ort benötigten. Die Lage am See ist atemberaubend und der Algonquin Nationalpark ist gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Es hat uns wirklich sehr gut gefallen und wir wären am liebsten noch länger geblieben.

It was a great stay and very accommodating. Kids enjoyed the pool table and foosball indoors as well as the pool and lake outside. The kitchen and view of the lake was amazing. Lots of fishing was done from the docks and petal boat and some paddling from the kayak and paddle board (we brought this).

We had a great time staying in Kevin’s home. He is extremely kind and helpful! We felt right at home and very comfortable. We caught a couple of fish right off his dock! Beautiful home and really beautiful scenery. We will definitely come back!!

Tracey was a great host and our group loved the cottage. We had a nice fall weekend and the views were incredible. The cottage had everything we needed. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to get away for a relaxing weekend on the lake.

Leah was very helpful in making sure our stay went seamless. Took care of plowing/snowblowing to make the property accessible to all areas of interest as with going had some awful weather.(Snow with more Snow). lol. Again she was very responsive with questions I had and Informative to the specifics of the area. Cozy spot, great to relax and unwind. Would definitely go again, perhaps a great summertime spot.

We love the lake. We have rented a few different places on the lake over the last 10 years. This cottage is amazing. It’s like we checked into a spa!!! It’s very privet and cozy. The small details of the cottage made my wife very happy, from the bath Salts to the high end towels. The view from the couch of the lake makes you just relax…. We brought up 3 snowmobiles to enjoy the local trails. The main trail is a short ride down the road so we could ride from the cottage. The outdoor lights were so beautiful at night!!! A lot of care has been taken on making its guests feel right at home. We didn’t want to leave!!! I highly recommend this for anyone looking to unplug and relax. We will be back! Simon.

We had an enjoyable Thanksgiving. The house is spacious and clean, with a workable kitchen. The backyard is big in size and has lots of activities.

Perfect spot for our girlfriend get away. Beautiful lake and beach and comfy beds! Our host was very responsive and helpful. Very well equipped cottage.

Shannon did an excellent job communicating with us and provided us with picture instructions on how to use the hottub, firepit and remotes for the heat and fireplace. She was aware we were celebrating my fiancé's birthday and was so sweet to leave him a birthday card and chocolates. We were also pleasantly surprised to see she had a snack basket, bottled water, eggs, bagels and food in the cuoboards that we could help ourselves to at no extra cost. She was extremely welcoming and allowed us to take our time checking out. We loved our stay at her beautiful home and highly recommend this place.
