A cosy mid-terraced fishermans cottage, now with a wood burner, located only 1 minute walking distance to the gorgeous Shandwick beach. Ideal for a peaceful seaside holiday retreat. Shandwick is one of three small coastal communities that along with Balintore and Hilton that make up the seaboard villages. Logs: we provide a bag of logs for each stay per week.If you require extra logs, I can provide contact details of logs providers locally. Well behaved (not too large) dogs also welcome.

Kimberley House, Findhorn

Luxury retreat in Findhorn. The cottage comprises two double bedrooms on the ground floor, both en-suite, and a large open plan dining/living space and kitchen upstairs. The property is architecturally striking and has been designed and built by a local architect and finished to a very high standard including luxurious linens and toiletries. Retaining much of its original character the property makes an ideal base for a great Scottish holiday and exploring the quiet and unspoilt Moray coast.

The Boat Shed

The Boat Shed nestles under a large ancient Monterey Pine at the bottom of our garden in the beautiful village of Findhorn. Less than two minutes from Findhorn Bay and a ten minute walk to the beach on the Moray Firth. Guests have their own access and sole use of the Boat Shed. Just a short walk to local pubs, restaurants, cafes, shop and Marina. Perfect for a short break or holiday. Great things come in small packages, and our quirky cottage won’t disappoint! Renovated and furnished to a high standard, you will have everything you need for a relaxing and luxurious break. We might not boast a seaview, but you are a 2 minute walk from two beautiful sandy beaches which are part of the Moray Coast Trail. Fabulous for hiking, dog walking, bird watching, watersports and the Cairngorms are a short drive away for the more intrepid adventurers. Pet friendly. Welcome pack.

Beautiful Seaview Townhouse

Set in the lovely town of Lossiemouth, this wee house is terrific for a relaxed time out by the sea. With a great and spacious open plan living room/ kitchen and stunning sea views from the main bedroom, our home is the perfect place for some time out, surrounded by fresh sea air and in a very comfortable and relaxed house. Our cleaning rating was affected in 2024 by cleaners who did not care for the property. We found out the job was not getting done, we have resolved this issue 😊

We welcome you to our guest flat which is attached to our home in Portmahomack. We are a sand dune away from a safe beach and coastal walks where you may be lucky and see otters, seals and some of the Moray Firth dolphins.The village has a golf course with a hospitable clubhouse And a fascinating museum the TARBAT DISCOVERY CENTRE whose website is well worth a look at. The general store has a good choice of foodstuffs which you can cook in our well equipped kitchen.

Added later, the adjacent 200 year old cottage has been beautifully renovated and sits in a peaceful location within a 2 acre garden surrounded by open countryside. It’s perfectly situated as a base for exploring the highlands of Scotland, the fabulous beaches and places of interest around the Moray Firth, as well as being on the doorstep of the acclaimed Malt Whisky Trail. The Highland Capital of Inverness is only 20 minutes away.
