One of the best stays we’ve ever had! Seriously nothing to complain about! We loved everything.. the breathtaking views, quiet/secluded area, hot tub, hot rock sauna, board/card games, lots of movies, heated toilet seat, breakfast goodies, super comfy bed/feather pillows!!! overall clean space & Bob was a super attentive/informative host!! ps. we enjoyed the art so much!

The cabin was so lovely - even prettier than the pictures. The view from the back deck was beautiful! Beds were comfortable and cabin felt spacious. Rocky was so kind and responsive throughout!

I loved Shelley's cabin. It was perfect for the two of us and our two dogs. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the bed was comfortable (including the pillows!), though we didn't use it I was impressed with the firewood being on the front porch with the ability to send payment by phone to pay for it as that is something that can always be frustrating to go and get when traveling sometimes. The hot tub was hot and relaxing although it was missing all the headrests haha. We took a tour of Trans Alleghany Lunatic Asylum on this trip but would consider coming back just to stay at this cabin for a weekend getaway! Thanks so much for everything!

This cabin is truly "a little bit of heaven" from the peaceful setting to the beauty of nature in early spring. We were able to fish as desired and rest and relax when at the cabin. Kitchen was fully equipped so meals at the cabin were easy. So quiet and swing on front porch set the mood for "front porch sitting".

We really enjoyed our stay! The house is beautiful, and comfortable. The location, and it's views, are amazing. And the host, Charissa was very friendly and helpful.

Victoria was awesome! She quickly responded whenever we had a question and her place was exactly as described. We would definitely go back!

We had an amazing girls trip at the cabin! We enjoyed the privacy and outdoor fire place. Couldn’t have asked for a better place for our trip!

Beautiful rustic cabin along the river! Peaceful surroundings, a bit hard to find off the road (which is a good thing) and nice amenities like hot tub and grill. Our family had a great time enjoying Elkins and the Forest Festival hanging out with close relatives and friends! thanks Tiffany!

Beautiful secluded cabin with all you need for a rustic getaway. Loved the seclusion and the sound of the stream out back. Quick drive to snowshoe for skiing. The road to get there was a bit more rural than we expected but the cabin was lovely.

We spent an Easter weekend in Misty's place and we had wonderful time. The place is just perfect for a small family, we found there everything we needed to prepare our meals (seasonings, condiments, pots & pans etc.). The hut lies near a creek, so every morning we could hear the sound of water (so relaxing) and sat nearby to enjoy the beauty of nature. Misty allowed us to bring our 2 dogs and they loved the place as well. she prepared a small welcome basket with snacks for us and even our furry companion. I truly recommend this hut if you want to relax and escape for a city hassle. Very close to hiking spots.

Had a very comfortable and enjoyable weekend here. It was a nice change of pace that allowed us to relax.

Myself, my boyfriend and our 2 dogs had an awesome stay at Tony’s. The area was a perfect location for our ski trip to Snowshoe. We enjoyed how peaceful the location was and even though we had a lot of rain our last “ski day” we enjoyed being at the cabin with a fire going, watching movies. The dogs enjoyed going for walks and seeing the deer out and about. We brought in all our groceries (suggest you do the same) and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook. I would absolutely stay here again in the future! Tony was also very helpful and communicative throughout. Additionally, as two music lovers, we really appreciated the music themed photos/memorabilia.

This home is in a beautiful, nature all around setting with a creek/river practically at the door step. The daily friendly revisiting deer, playful Blue Jay's at back bird feeder, etc..very 😎cool!!. The home was exceptionally stocked with anything/everything one could possibly need for a restful & relaxing stay... soo comfy, cozy & super clean! The hosts were quick to respond to our reach outs & very accommodating. Their goal was to fully support & quickly address whatever question we had to ensure our stay was nothing but enjoyable 😉.

Despite renting this cabin in the dead of winter, leading to frozen pipes and being buried in snow, this stay was just what I needed to get away for a little while with my dog. Xavier notified me in advance of the pipes and there being no water, but made it work by providing ample drinking and flushing water. The mini split heater and an electric heater kept the cabin comfortable, but the wood stove cabin probably would have been more ideal in this weather. The family who lives near the property was extremely attentive to my needs and made me feel welcomed and safe. Bonus points for adorable goats, chickens, and cats on the property. I hope to come back in better weather to enjoy the trail and lake.

This cabin was everything that we could have wanted and more! The place itself was beautiful and was stocked with everything that we needed from kitchen amenities to extra towels/blankets, etc. The view was unbeatable and sitting in that hot tub over looking the snowy mountains was a huge highlight. Plenty of space for a group and very comfortable sleeping arrangements. John was great at communicating and had a local host who was also amazing and very responsive, she even helped us get the driveway plowed when we got snowed in! Overall an amazing stay at an amazing cabin, I can’t recommend this place enough. We were here for a ski trip and it was perfect. Snowshoe is about 15-20 minutes away which made the mornings and drives home very nice. There was a gas station on the way and a dollar general as well that had any extra snacks/groceries/drinks that we needed. There is also a Ski Barn on the way to the mountain, so all of our friends who needed to rent were able to do so easily.

Amazing Air BnB, amazing host. The only downfall was the long road to cabin with a boat, that would have been good to know. But besides that, the cabin was beyond comfortable, clean and very friendly. The host Michael was awesome as well, took care of us and answered any questions in a timely manner. Would highly recommend

The only word to describe this stay was perfect! Very scenic and secluded yet close enough to restaurants and grocery stores. About a beautiful 40 minute drive to New River Gorge but would’ve been happy just staying at this perfect cabin listening to the creek flow in the woods. We will definitely be booking this cabin again in the future!

Very family friendly cabin/home. Lots for everyone to do. Fishing, board games, playground equipment/swingset, toys, and great scenery. Very quiet location and only 5 short miles from a national park and places to eat. Host was in constant communication and answered and helped with any concerns and questions I had about the area or camp. Home was in great condition. I recommend driving an SUV or truck but not 100% required, for the access road. We had no issues with our GMC Sierra. Google wanted us to take a different route but the instructions in the listing, are spot on. Buckhannon is such a beautiful county to visit and your stay here, will complete it all.

peaceful, beautiful, middle of nowhere. make sure to take the road by Holly park to get there. Do not take the back "road" from the other side. take 15, not 20. clean, comfortable, hospitable, fantastic experience. be aware, No AC, and no WiFi, service spotty.

The cabin is so nice! It is the perfect place to stay if you are looking to have a relaxing trip to the mountains. It is in a great location for local fishing, and it is a quick trip to so many beautiful places in West Virginia. We really enjoyed our weekend getaway!

It was a great, eclectic cabin that was peaceful and private. We spent our early mornings drinking our tea and coffee on the porch watching the birds and listening to the waterfall. We spent our evenings having dinner, playing games, watching movies and listening to music. The sky lights are a nice touch and the clawed bath tub was very relaxing. There are a few State Parks from 15 minutes to one hour away that we went to. Also, there are a few small convenience stores with friendly people(Deerwood was my favorite and had pepperoni rolls). I would definitely recommend this place. 😀
