We had three super nights at this beautiful little gem, nestled on the hillside just above Drøbak centre and only a brief walk to good swimming spots. We were bless d with two days of good weather and it was lovely to sit outside having dinner in the late sunshine overlooking the fjord. Highly recommended.

Eskils house is beautiful and such a gem to find. We had a lovely stay as a family of 6 and it was the perfect size and very well equipped for us. The sea views from the windows are spectacular and it was really special to go swimming every morning in the sea from the beach at the bottom of the garden. Fantastic outdoor spaces to sit and eat/hang out too. Eskil himself was very helpful and flexible host and made our stay very easy! 100% recommend this place :)

Dette stedet med egen strandlinje byr på en idyllisk og privat atmosfære, perfekt for en avslappende ferie. Beliggenheten er ideell for både bading og soling, og verten er svært imøtekommende og hyggelig, noe som gjør oppholdet ekstra behagelig. Anbefales for en fredelig ferie ved sjøen.

Nydelig hus med kort vei til alt Drøbak sentrum har å by på! Koselig og omtenksom vert og god kommunikasjon. Vi fikk gode tips av verten om ting å gjøre, og benyttes oss av flere av disse. Anbefales på det varmeste! Vi vender gjerne tilbake!

Vi overnattet her i forbindelse med bryllup på Nesodden. Passet familien 4 midt i blinken. Trivelig vert og et fint opphold!

This home was absolutely gorgeous. Our family of seven fit perfectly and everyone loved it. We couldn’t wait to get home each day to enjoy the property and see the amazing sunsets.

A very friendly, easy, nice, helpful host. The house itself amazing, nice spaceous living-room, comfortable kitchen, nice bedrooms, all very clean. We were with 2 adults and 3 teenagers and all worked very well. The area just amazing for those who love quiet places and nature. Highly reccomended.

Vi var veldig fornøyd med oppholdet. Boligen hadde alt vi trengte og beliggenheten var fantastisk vakker ut mot sjøen. Det var veldig lett å kommunisere med Ruth, som var svært vennlig og hyggelig.

Veldig hyggelig leilighet og perfekt avstand til byen med T-bane bare 2-3 minutter unna. Leiligheten hadde alt vi trengte og var nydelig å kunne trekke seg ut på altanen når Jr hadde sovnet. Vi fikk til og med låne parkeringsplass med lader, noe som gjorde at vi både sparte tid og penger i forhold til offentlig lader.

Leiligheten er som på bildene. Kort vei til Ekebergsletta, buss til sentrum rett utenfor døren. Enkelt med gateparkering. Veldig hyggelig vert.

Situé à 50 mètres de la plage, l’appartement de Chris nous a permis de passer un séjour royal dans cette magnifique ville d’Oslo. La terrasse cosy avec vue vaut à elle seule le déplacement. Les installations sont impeccables et la décoration est très stylée. Un wifi d’une vitesse folle pour poster vos belles photos rapidement. Nous vous recommandons cette très chouette adresse.

Hadde en helt topp helg i rekkehuset til Øystein. Det var stille og rolig, god seng og pute. Veldig nærme matbutikk og midt i blinken av hva jeg trengte denne helgen. Stedet hadde sjel og jeg likte meg godt der. Kommer gjerne tilbake om jeg er i Ås i fremtiden.

The owner lives in the property and cleared it for us. A beautiful apartment. Designed with good taste. Everything we thought of was in the apartment. The bed is comfortable. The living room is large and comfortable. Furnished and pleasant balcony. A grocery store is nearby. A bus stop is 4 minutes away and the metro is an 11-minute walk away. The apartment is on the fourth floor without an elevator and is about 45-60 minutes away by public transport from the center.

We had an incredible experience ! The apartment was clean, cozy, and perfectly located close to all the main attractions while offering a peaceful retreat. The host was very welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The thoughtful touches throughout the space made it feel like home. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay during our visit to Oslo. Highly recommend !

Camilla & Snorre sind unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit – die Kommunikation lief reibungslos. Das Haus war nicht nur sauber, sondern auch stilvoll eingerichtet, mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Die Lage ist ideal – ruhig, aber dennoch zentral/mit toller Anbindung. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns der Blick auf Oslo. Wir haben ums rundum wohlgefühlt und freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch. Vielen Dank, Camilla & Snorre für diesen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir hatten nach einer freundlichen Begrüßung durch den Gastgeber mit Empfehlungen für Ausflüge wunderbare und abwechslungsreiche Tage in Norwegen. Fußläufig zehn Minuten entfernt gibt es in der Nähe einen kleinen See, der zum Erholen und Baden einlädt. Auch schöne Strände am Fjord sind nicht weit weg. Oslo ist in kurzer Zeit mit dem Auto oder der Bahn (haben wir nicht probiert) erreichbar - dort haben wir unter anderem mit Begeisterung das Technikmuseum, das Fram Museum und das Norwegische Volksmuseum besucht und die Aussicht und die Zipline von der Holmenkollen Schanze genossen. Auch weitere Ausflüge zum Gaustatoppen und nach Schweden waren sehr spannend. An ruhigeren Tagen hatten die Kinder (8, 10 und 12) viel Spaß mit den bei Jostein vorhandenen Spielsachen, die wir nutzen durften. Vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit!

Frode’s place had so much charm. We loved all the outdoor spaces, and the kitchen was a great place to cook. The whole family enjoyed the sauna because we had a lot of rain. Thanks Frode:-)

Ole's home is beautiful, and well equipped, including loads of toys for our kids. The gardens have great spaces for all times of day and, along with the local area, are peaceful and made for an amazing but short stay for our family. Ole was a great host, nothing was too much trouble and he went above and beyond to make us feel at home on arrival. We'll be back in the winter, when the Viking museum has reopened.

We were extremely impressed with the property. After an initial walkaround my husband was very complimentary about the fixtures and fittings, although wondered about the amount of space available. I then pointed out to him that there was an entire downstairs he hadn't looked around yet... a huge playroom area, a cellar, another bedroom, bathroom and laundry facilities. We would not hesitate to recommend this property to others, and when we return to the area will definitely be checking availability!

The house itself is stunning, thoughtfully designed with every detail blending style and comfort seamlessly. What made the experience even more special was the warmth and attentiveness of the owner, who was always quick to respond and made us feel so welcomed and safe throughout our stay. This is truly the perfect place for a family holiday or anyone seeking a slice of paradise. We feel incredibly blessed to have created lasting memories here and cannot recommend this place enough.

La maison de Frode et Vidar est un véritable bijou, idéalement située à quelques encablures de ferry du centre d'Oslo, offrant une vue à couper le souffle sur le majestueux Fjord. C'est un cadre de rêve pour quiconque souhaite s'évader tout en restant à proximité de la ville. L'intérieur de la maison est parfaitement équipé, avec tout le confort nécessaire pour un séjour des plus agréables. De plus, la proximité des commerces et des transports publics en fait un lieu aussi pratique que charmant. Un des moments les plus magiques de notre séjour a été de pouvoir admirer les aurores boréales directement depuis le salon – un spectacle inoubliable et un privilège rare. Je recommande vivement cette maison pour une expérience unique en Norvège.

Great house with beautiful views of the Oslo fjord, just like the photos. Beds were comfortable. Close to the city center, 15 mins by bus. Short but steep hill from the bus station to the house, might be difficult for seniors or with a stroller. We had a great time!
