Pets disclosed to host prior to visit can stay in the fenced backyard as long as any waste is disposed of properly. Any pets that are not disclosed will forfeit the security deposit.

Relax with the family in our 100-year-old, single story, bungalow. We offer 3 bedrooms, sleeping 6. The interior is newly remodeled, including new central heat and air. We are still sprucing up the outside. Enjoy the quiet neighborhood while relaxing on the large cozy front porch. Our home is 3 blocks from the largest town square in the U.S. It is also a short bike ride from the Lehigh Portland Trails and the Prairie Spirit Trail State Park. Iola is the home of Allen Community College.

Come and relax at the Cottage on Summit. A comfortable little house right off the square in Girard,Kansas There are several little shops,restaurants and a coffee shop about 2 blocks from the house. There is a Sonic,Dollar General,Opies and a grocery store not to far away. Kansas Crossing Casino is 18 miles away. Pitt State University is 12 miles away. We have a pull thru driveway. So it will be easy if you have a boat or trailer to get in and out. We would love to host you!!

Cozy Barndominium Near Pool & Beach

This 700 sq ft, two room barndominium is located in the gated lake community of Linn Valley Lakes in Linn Valley Kansas. It was updated in 2025 and contains a stove, microwave, full-size fridge, one queen bed and fold-out sofa, electric fireplace, two AC units, and two 45" TVs. It has year-around WIFI, YouTube TV, and is a short walk to the swimming beach and public pool. It also has a large outdoor patio w/fire pit, wood, and Bluetooth speakers, and small dogs are welcome.

The Embassy suite on the historic Iola square

This beautiful suite sits on the north side of the square and overlooks the bandstand where the community band has performed concerts for 150 years. It is within easy walking distance of a coffee shop, two restaurants and other interesting shopping all situated on the square. If you’re visiting in the summer there is a farmers market every Thursday evening and a charming community band concert. We happily welcome long-term stays for people on out of town work assignments.

Located rurally (3 miles south of Chanute, Ks), we are listed as one of the top ten attractions with numerous flower beds, a historic 1874 stone schoolhouse, a Retail Soap Shop located in a restored barn (handcrafted soaps are made here on site), and the Summit Hill Gardens Event Center- for hosting celebrations of life.
