This is our second time coming to this ocean cottage so we knew what to expect. We felt right at home in the cozy little cottage and had the amenities we needed. Kathleen was very responsive and easy to deal with. We look forward to coming another time!

We booked both houses for a family reunion of three generations. It was the perfect place for us all to have conversations, make big dinners, play games, and relax. There was plenty of dish ware, glasses, and silverware. Kitchen was well stocked and roomy for making large meals for our group. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. We had a last minute addition to our group so we had 17 total people, plus dogs. When I called the host, she was very friendly and accommodating to our request. The location is excellent! We all fell in love with the quaint and charming town of Manzanita. The walk to the beach was just a couple minutes. Everyone had a blast and felt very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend Sanctuary in the Shire to others.

I stayed for 2 nights and the space was very nice. Very clean. Very relaxing. Walking distance from SO many cool things. The tub was great. The decor was very cute and aided to the ocean/beach experience. Dylan's Cottage Bakery is a must try!

Beautiful home with all the things! Kettle, coffee grinder, full of what you need to cook, enjoy coffee and relax. Great gas fireplace that made those chilly mornings so cozy. Comfy beds and super comfy couches. We lazed about, walked the dog and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Will stay again!

Cute little place! Lots of space for the 4 of us. Super easy to get down to the beach / water and just a quick bike ride to town. Could of walked if we wanted but my youngest (5yo) gets tired.

What a great stay. The only things i was bummed about is not being able to smoke on the property. I completely understand not smoking in houses but not being able to smoke even a vape on the property is a little extreme. But besides that great location clean and very nice host.

Haystack Rock on Cannon Beach was a short walk down the street, down the stairs and along the sand. Town was 5 minutes by car, lovely location.

Charming place with everything we needed. Great vibe for the location. Cindy responded promptly to all questions and other messages.

This place was absolutely beautiful inside and out!! Everything we hoped for while we had a relaxing and peaceful weekend at the coast. Can’t wait to go back again soon!

Wonderful location (we walked to the beach often!) and great family condo! The indoor pool captured my kids and made the winter vacation feel like summertime! The extra touches made us feel pampered and the layout brought us together for wonderful conversation. Everything you would want in a family trip to the beach! Thank you!!

Great place and great view it was very homely

Great location for visiting Cannon Beach (a couple minute walk and you're on the sand!), which was our primary interest. The space was as-described and comfortable, and was easy for us to spend time together playing games and watching movies while also providing us room to spread out. Also having a restaurant, small store, and park all "right there" along the short walk to the beach was very convenient (there are wild bunnies that roam the park area!). And it was a short, easy drive down the highway a few minutes to check out Arcadia Beach and Hug Point, too. Additionally, we appreciated how responsive Austin was whenever we reached out and the suggestions/guidance he shared for our stay.

The pictures do not do this place enough justice! This may be the nicest Airbnb we’ve stayed in. The views especially at sunrise and sunset are breathtaking. We were informed a couple of weeks before our stay the hot tub was not working, but they did refund our hot tub fee and let us use the community facilities (although we never made it over there). This place has everything you will need, and an especially well stocked kitchen.

Great old school coastal retreat. A little expensive for an Airbnb in my opinion but that seems to be the trend at the Oregon coast these days (with the all fees etc we paid ~1000 for a two night weekend stay). We tend to pay only a little more than this for an entire week at the beach in Waikiki or island stays on the east coast for comparison but at least we didn’t have to buy plane tickets ;)

My family absolutely loved Erin's home and really look forward to coming back again for a stay during the warmer months!

Great stay overall! Very well stocked kitchen. Lots of linens and extra bedding. The bikes aren’t in very good shape, but better than nothing. No propane provided for the firepit on the deck. The pull out sofa bed is an air mattress and loses air overnight but was fine for my kids. Large fenced backyard. Very responsive to questions. Four folding chairs in the closet.

We spend Thanksgiving at this wonderful home. Lots of space and fun things to do for everyone. Just down the road is the beach, fun little store, and great food. The host was amazing and responsive. The holiday was amazing thanks to great weather and the perfect place to stay.

Fantastic Airbnb and would highly recommend. Immaculately clean considering it is also dog friendly. Very comfortable and lovely touches with entertainment for families. Beds were super comfortable with very soft sheets! Spacious and great for big or multi families. My boys wanted to steal the comfy couches! lol! Communication was also prompt and helpful. Will definitely look for availability at Kaarina’s if we’re in the area again.

We had such a wonderful stay! We booked last minute and kindel very accommodating to us! It was the perfect space for us and our 3 little ones. They had so much fun in the large open backyard, and they also had games for them to play. Everything we needed was there, and it couldn't have been better. The bay is walkable from the house and manzanita is a 5 min drive with great beach access. We will definitely be back!

Extremely clean and well laid out. Loved the snacks when we got there! Very well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds and spacious living room. Loved that we could walk to the beach. The only few small down sides are that the house is right on the main road and the two bedrooms on that side of the house were a bit loud. The shower is also kind of awkward to get in with two seats that make it feel cramped in the shower. And the last small thing is just that the garage opener had been lost and it was tedious to get in and out of the garage, so best to tell guests to just park on the street. But Ammy was very responsive about the garage and communication was smooth, helpful and friendly throughout. Our family of 7 were very comfortable and glad we could bring our dog. Thank you !!
