Magnifique endroit! Hôte très sympathique et très réactive. Décor sublime, maison magnifique! Paysage juste incroyable avec l’eau cristalline juste wow ! L’eau potable était salée et imbuvable pour nous, ce qui est possible avec un puit. Nous avons acheté de l’eau en bouteille et c’était parfait! Laurie est d’une gentillesse et d’une réactivité hors pair ! Je recommande cet endroit !

We are so happy we got to stay at the cottage during our visit. It was so peaceful and quiet. Beautiful scenery, comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen. I look forward to visiting again.

If you need to get away from the city this is the place to experience peace and serenity! The view/location of the lake was just amazing! House was very homey and cozy. My kids loved the rocks by the shoreline, they didn't want to leave. Would definitely go back!

Amazing place to stay and a great location

House was perfect, it was cute, rooms are nice and big, both living rooms are huges. Michael is a great hot and super pro active whenever you have a question. Wouldnt hesitate to stay again.

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect getaway. Quinn couldn't have been more responsive or helpful. From my first message to his post check out message, he answered all of my questions and ensured we had everything we needed. The cottage was exactly as shown in the pictures and descriptions. The views were even more beautiful than what were captured in the listing's descriptions. We spent our evenings in the hot tub watching the sunset overlooking Lake Huron. The kitchen was perfectly equipped with anything you would need to make the simplest of meals to the most elaborate of ones. The King bed in the master bedroom had a wonderfully comfortable mattress and we both slept better than we had in some time. If you're thinking of renting Quinn's property don't hesitate. It truly was a slice of heaven. So much so that we're already planning a return visit in the fall. Thank you Quinn for the perfect getaway.

The home was beautiful, spacious and well laid out; the star room is definitely the screened in porch which provides enjoyment in rain or shine, day or night and keeps the bugs at bay. Kids had a fantastic time playing ping pong (which was a first for them) and the double hammock in the yard provided an excellent excuse for afternoon napping, The kitchen had pretty much everything you could need (we brought our single brew keurig for ease) and is well thought out. The oven was a good size and heated up pretty quick. BBQ was well located and same with the fire pit. Loved the fairy garden space too! The neighborhood is quaint and remote, met a couple of the neighbors (very friendly) and admired one award winning garden! It was easy to find the path to the lake; the spot is shallow and rocky, but fun for skimming stones at sunset! We spent several days at the main beach in Port Elgin which was only 20 minutes away and provided a great excuse to swing by Hi-Berry farm!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Erica’s. The house is very cute and although it is old, it felt very quaint with lots of charm, and many areas are more up to date (kitchen appliances, living room, bathroom). We found the space to be clean and it had pretty much everything we needed. The backyard has a patio, hot tub, and dock overlooking the beautiful waterfront. Erica was very communicative and provided helpful instructions. We really enjoyed our stay here!

I stayed in the cottage for one night in a cozy one-room setup, and it was such a lovely experience. The place was beautifully decorated, warm, and inviting — it felt like a perfect little retreat. Probably the best Airbnb I’ve stayed in over the last 10 years of my Airbnb experiences. It’s beautifully stunning, in every way, and in a wonderful location. Jim is a perfect host, and his enthusiasm and passion for his property and the neighbourhood’s many assets is extremely welcome. If only I lived in this country, we would be back on a regular basis, for sure!

Beautiful view from the living room/kitchen/dining/deck area! In a very quiet neighbourhood but still close to downtown Penetang and shops and services. Kitchen has everything you need to cook simple meals. Cosy and comfortable living room.

Carina’s place is a small gem - cozy, neat and beautiful with a wonderful backyard. The hosts are very responsive and helpful.

Our stay at Christina and Mike’s place exceeded all expectations! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The property is even more stunning in person than in the photos. It is immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and filled with thoughtful touches that made our stay extra special. The location was perfect, offering both tranquility and easy access to local attractions. We loved the cruiser bikes as it was a great way to explore the town. Christina and Mike were incredible hosts—quick to respond, attentive, and full of great recommendations for local restaurants and activities. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and unforgettable stay!

We just returned from a weekend stay at this beautiful cottage and it was exactly what we were looking for. Peaceful and picturesque, right on the water with all the amenities we needed. Ildiko was quick to respond if we had any questions and was accommodating where we had some requests regarding check out. An absolute gem of a place, amazing views and spectacular sunrises. Would definitely recommend staying here. We would love to be back in the warmer months to experience the additional facilities such as kayaking. This cottage was beautiful! A great trip to Tobermory, close enough to the main strip and the national parks. The view was great and we saw different wildlife as we came and went. We came in a cooler season, but heaters worked well and we enjoyed the sunroom a lot. Gencay was very helpful and responsive to any questions. Definitely recommend and even consider booking it again in the warmer weather!

Beautiful cozy cottage. Spectacular front window view of the water, full kitchen and the wood burning stove were my favorite features. Easy check in, etc..

A great retreat for a New Year’s nest. Loved the hot tub in the snow - and the bunkie! Very relaxing, comfortable. You should organize your food supply carefully though as it would take about 2 hours (40 min to Foodland, 40 min back and 20 min shopping). We were fine as we had brought lots of food with us. Also, the walls between the two bedrooms are very thin, so if you have a snorer….Otherwise, a wonderful property!!

My husband and our 3 young children and I stayed at Blake's place and we had a blast. We stayed in April, so we wanted a place with things to do even if the weather was cooler and this did not disappoint. The cottage is private, spacious, clean and comfortable with lots of different areas to relax and explore. The beach is rocky but easy to walk on and the kids had fun flying kites on the windier days, and exploring the shallow pools of water that formed between the cottage and the lake. The outdoor space around the cottage was great for the kids and us to roam around, and we took advantage of the nearby hiking trails in Tobermory as well. We loved relaxing by the fire pit, and spending time in the hot tub which overlooks the beach. Thanks for hosting us!

We had a wonderful stay! The place was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully stocked with everything one might need—from small essentials to those little touches that really make a difference. You can tell a lot of care went into making the space comfortable and convenient. Whether it was the extra toiletries, kitchen basics, or even just how organized everything was, every detail was well thought out. Moreover they were very responsive over messages throughout our stay. Also its right by the water and so peaceful.
