With only an 18 minute drive to Hobart CBD, 6 minutes to MONA and a vast range of eateries within nearby Moonah, this property is super convenient and is sure to please. Nearing the top of the hills, backing on to peaceful bushland, you will most likely see a few Kangaroos.

We want to offer visitors to Hobart a unique & luxurious accommodation experience, which connects modern design with its rugged, bush environment. Located in West Hobart, we are a short 8 minute drive to the Salamanca water front. Our 2 story house is nestled in a private bushy street, with amazing views of the Derwent River, South Hobart, Sandy Bay & beyond. The home is spacious and private, yet surrounded by (harmless) local wildlife. You will see many wallabies grazing on the property.

Laneway hideaway

Our architect designed, garden roof cabin was built in 2020 to take in views across they valley to knocklofty. North facing the sun warms this house with the passive solar design maintaining a steady temperature. To complement this there is a wood fire for grey days and a sliding door and bifold windows for hot ones. Ply lining and exposed rafters give the house a cabin feel creating a retreat feeling. Different outdoor spaces provide great options to soak in the sun and neighbourhood.

29 Ebden – Architectural Home in Hobart’s North

Welcome to 29 Ebden – your sanctuary to unwind & rejuvenate. Elevated and private, this luxurious architecturally designed home in Hobart's North has all that you need to enjoy a memorable stay in Tasmania. Perched atop a hill overlooking the Derwent River, the house features a large deck & outdoor wood fire pit, as well as a bath deck. Please note; 29 Ebden's bedrooms are double (queen) share. E.g., if you would like four bedrooms prepared for your stay please book for eight guests.

The modern studio is nestled in a luxurious garden providing a sense of serenity at the rear of our 130-year-old heritage house. Warm up next to the wood-fire after a short stroll to the local restaurants, bars and cafes located in North Hobart. Situated within 1.9km of the CBD and 2.8km to Salamanca waterfront, there is a bus stop at the end of the street. A microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker and fridge are provided for your convenience, as well as a BBQ on your private deck.

The tastefully decorated double bedroom has lots of natural light, a double bed, a private en suite and breakfast facilities. A short hop to the Derwent River Esplanade Walk (GASP) picnic areas, Yacht Club, shops, Derwent Entertainment Centre (Mystate Arena), River and Mountain views to be enjoyed while on your quiet riverside stroll. Hobart CBD , Salamanca Markets, restaurants and entertainment areas are all within a 15 min drive.

West Hobart Studio apartment, with off street parking , very close to the city. A spacious, sunny room with a view and kitchenette, living space, queen size bed and bathroom. Large windows provide city and West Hobart views and lots of sunlight. The city centre, Farm Gate markets, Salamanca Place and the Hobart Waterfront are easily accessed by car and within walking distance.

This is a beautiful quirky little studio that we built, utilising lots of recycled materials, in our former garage which sits at the back of our yard. The property is very conveniently located, being just a short walk from the centre of Hobart City and a 20 minute stroll to the delights of the Hobart waterfront.
