There is shared access for an in-ground saltwater pool with the other house on the property (open Memorial-Labor day). A great place for a private getaway at anytime of the year, with an appropriate balance of experiencing the area's natural beauty while remaining convenient to nearby food and shopping.

Washington, is a prime location for everything outdoors: year round HIKING, (1.7 miles to AT) & BIKING trails, 100s of groomed ATV/snowmobile trails, swim, fish, canoe, kayak and tube the pristine rivers, waterfalls & emerald pools and SKI THE SKI RESORTS within 10-30 miles. The small town of Gorham caters to tourists: a dozen great restaurants, antique & gift shops, railroad museum, opera house & town common all within easy walking distance of the studio.

Seven years of positive Airbnb hosting experiences encouraged us to create a new space in downtown Gorham. Walk to restaurants, a brewery, antique shops and an art gallery, or access White Mountain hiking trails or Coos mountain bike trails. This beautifully curated, spacious upstairs apartment combines modern and vintage in both art and furnishings. Enjoy vintage photography by one of the White Mountains’ most well-known photographers, Guy Shorey - the apartment’s namesake and his former home.

North Conway private, wooded in-town location

Our home sits on top of a hill looking down over a very quiet residential neighborhood in the heart of North Conway, between North Conway Village and Intervale/Kearsarge. The house sits on 1/2 acre of wooded land with a long dirt driveway leading up to a parking area that can accommodate 2-4 cars. Our home has direct access to the Whitaker Woods trail system that runs from Kearsarge to North Conway Village. We are also a short walk to the Moat restaurant and Stonehurst/Wild Rose restaurant.
