After being displaced from our home after damage from severe weather we were so fortunate to find this location. The house accommodated our family of 4 with pets for nearly a month without any issues. The kitchen is well equipped, bathrooms are well finished, bedrooms were comfortable and the location was very clean. The backyard is a beautiful and relatively private space hidden within a 15 minute walk to the downtown restaurants or the beach area. Anzhelika is an excellent host who was very responsive when needed, provided clear instructions and ample privacy. We would happily recommend this location to friends and family attending the area for events.

Our group had a great stay! The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and in a great location. The host was super responsive and friendly, making the whole experience smooth from start to finish. Instructions for check-in and everything else were very clear and easy to follow. We loved staying here! There was SO much space, it felt very homey and cozy. The backyard was beautiful! This is an amazing home to stay in with tons and tons of room.

The cottage is so cozy and clean. The space had everything we needed for a weekend getaway with our dogs. The neighborhood is great and so close to the beach which would be a great perk in the summer.

Ballard Cabin was the perfect getaway! It has a warm, rustic hunting cabin vibe that made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The space is incredibly cozy, with a super comfy couch and a great collection of books to browse through. The kitchen was amazing—fully stocked with everything we needed to cook a gourmet meal. The location was also perfect: just minutes from town and a short drive to Arrowhead Provincial Park, where we spent the weekend skating. I enjoyed a peaceful 2 weeks at this beautiful Airbnb! The setting is surreal surrounded by nature and a river! I had everything I needed and I enjoyed a few nights with a cozy fire in the wood stove. The bed and couches were very comfortable. The No Frills in Shelburne was a great grocery store nearby. Wendy was always very responsive and helpful. As clearly noted in the description, there is no cell service but not a big deal as there is wifi. I hope to be back again one day! A true gem!

We had a lovely stay at Stu and Heather’s place. It was clean, the property is beautiful and the kitchen was so well stocked. We were in town for a show at Casino Rama and it was great to be off the beaten path but still close after a late night. Stu greeted us when we checked in and gave us a great recommendation for a local restaurant. We look forward to coming back should an opportunity arise.

Doreen and Derek were excellent hosts. They were warm, friendly and receptive. The place was clean, nicely furnished and the kitchen had all necessary amenities. The neighbourhood was quiet and beautiful. We would like to visit the place again if the opportunity arises.

Anuhea was an amazing host. The place is as described, beautiful & cozy. Short waltz to downtown Peterborough. Did not have enough time in our quick visit to do the sauna, but what a bonus!!! We would stay a hundred times over & bigly recommend these wonderful people & their guest suite.

Elijah’s place was very spacious, homey, clean, and as described; the bed was very comfortable and all the appliances worked as described; we didn’t need to ask for anything additionally and they were kind enough to offer us a checkout time of 12pm which meant we didn’t need to rush in the morning; will highly recommend to everyone wanting to visit the local trails, beautiful patches of nature and Vettä spa, as it’s practically walking distance

I had a wonderful solo experience at Catherine's cabin. It was cozy, comfortable and had everything I needed to cook simple delicious meals. BBQ for dinners and the frying pan was perfect for breakfast. The view was absolutely stunning, which you can enjoy from the private dock or from the cabin. It was only a 15 minute drive away from beautiful hikes and the grocery store or butcher. Very grateful to have found this place and will definitely come back.

We absolutely loved our stay at this cozy cabin! This was our 4th time coming back, and it never disappoints. The snowshoe trails are fantastic, offering great adventures right outside the door. We especially enjoyed the outdoor winter fires – a perfect way to unwind after a day in the snow. The cabin itself is so warm and inviting, truly the ideal spot for a cozy winter getaway. Tammy and Donna are such wonderful hosts, always going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Can’t wait for our next visit!

What a beautiful place to stay! Close to Algonquin park where we got to see pine martens and later learned that they are also on the property! Awesome place to see northern lights. Zoe was so helpful and kind to talk to! Definitely will be coming back!

This was the best cabin getaway where we instantly felt at home. It felt like we had a personal waterfall right beside our room. It was so breathtaking and serene. And it was so warm and cozy inside the cabin with the fireplace. I booked this so my sister and I could get away from the city and completely disconnect. Thoroughly enjoyed our time in nature and hope to be back in future ✅😎🌲

“Hostess with the mostest” is an understatement for Sandra. When she says all you need to bring is your overnight bag and groceries, she means it! Her and Dejay are lovely people, offering an incredible getaway. The attention to detail and commitment to their guests is unmatched. 10/10 would recommend and return!

We stayed at cabin #1 during October 11-13 weekend. We loved this place. Very clean, cute cabin, worth the price. Amy was very quick to respond. There are kayaks, canoes to use, firepit, bbq grill. We had awesome experience. I am looking forward to book it again. I highly recommend this place for with kids trip. There is beautiful playground by the beach.

Had a wonderful stay, the cabin was absolutely perfect. Very cute, clean and well appointed. I will definitely be back. I strongly urge vacationers to try Honeys Diner, down the Rd, delicious breakfasts and the Woodview convenience store has all your last minute items that you may need, not to mention very yummy locally made cheesecake and butter tarts. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ -Linda 🙌

We absolutely loved our night in the cabin. Simply stunning views and setting. Cassie was proactively helpful and communicative before we came. And getting to the cabin couldn’t have been easier. We’d love to stay again one day.
