Our lovingly restored train carriage is located within our picturesque 270 acre family farm in Oakview, just 80 minutes from Noosa & 15 minutes from Kilkivan. Enjoy stunning forest & mountain views, modern ammenities, a fire pit, private access to a winding stream perfect for swimming, exploring & kayaking, and a nature walking trail spanning over 10 acres.

Self Contained Unit at Sailfish Cottage

A beautiful, self-contained studio unit underneath Sailfish Cottage, the 80 year old restored ex-principal's residence from the local area is relaxing, private and peaceful, yet close to everything Tin Can Bay offers. Explore this beautiful area which offers wild, humpback dolphin feeding everyday at Nelson Point, lovely parks and walks, plenty of fishing and Rainbow Beach is only a 25 min drive away and Fraser Island is just a short ferry trip from Inskip Point.

Mary River farm cottage

The Cottage has one bedroom with a queen bed, a sofa bed, a bathroom and a small kitchen, with a gas BBQ on verandah. Its suitable for a small family. It has Air-con. The farm has a herd of cows and some cultivated fields. There is a kilometer of Mary River frontage with bird, rare lungfish, frogs and platypus. There are large areas of scenic bush walking. Our place is dog friendly, but prefer the dog to stay outside in the secure enclosure on verandah.

Start the day with a fresh coffee made at Soma Soma just over the train tracks from the Historic Mary Valley Rattler. You could grab a ticket on the train to enjoy a scenic trip through the hills of Gympie Region or take a walk down to the town that saved Queensland. Whatever you find yourself doing for the day you can return home to enjoy the sunset on a private deck and a movie streamed direct to your living room TV.

Laurelea - Beautiful home in central location

Laurelea is my haven of peace and serenity in a secluded but central spot of the Cooloola Coast, that is Gympie. I've spent years here, working, relaxing, it's my home away from home - and like me and every guest who has stayed before, you'll never want to leave. This property is an ideal retreat, for commuters, travelers, bridal prep or visiting family.

It is located approximately 50m away from the main home. Any broken or damaged item during the stay shall be replaced or paid for by the guest prior to check out.
