This gorgeous and massive space is great for large gatherings. Wifi connection was excellent and even accomodated video conferences. Gorgeous view. Some items in the kitchen were dirty (dish towels, dishes, etc.) and we had heating issues that were solved - nothing worth leaving anything but 5 stars. Overall, would recommend.

We loved the weekend stay at Glenn’s house. The house was just as pictured and the surroundings even more beautiful with the river that is in the front of the property . Our family enjoyed sitting on the front deck watching the river and the beautiful birds in the woods . What a gem of location! Also the house itself was clean comfortable and totally updated, really nice . Thank you we would love to come back at some point!

We loved our weekend stay at the Farmhouse with our dog. Rachelle provided very clear instructions that made it easy to find and access the home. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances, pots and pans, sharp kitchen knives, spices, etc, and Rachelle even provided extra dog items like food and water bowls and poop bags. The place is spotless and the couches and bed were very comfortable. The property is really pretty - a cherry and magnolia tree and some spring wildflowers were blooming. We spent a lot of time on the porches listening to and watching the birds and listening to the spring peepers. We loved being so close to the C&O Towpath trail too. We look forward to visiting again!

Words cannot even describe how enchanting and unique this property is. The owner has put in so much detailed work into the property, you can tell it's like a passion! This is one of the best stays I have had in a very long time. Ken has a whole map of trails, so it really is like you are in your own personal forest. Never-ending fun of exploring the woods, the mountain views with the cabanas was so relaxing, the swimming hole is a mountain paradise, the campfire space is totally epic. My family and I can't WAIT to return. My only regret about staying here was not renting it longer! Also, the cabin is so COZY and ROOMY you feel right at home. Very clean, kitchen was roomy and had everything to cook all kinds of meals. Bedrooms are a perfect size! I would highly recommend this property if you want a true cabin West Virginian trip! Already planning our next trip back! Thank you so much Ken for sharing your magical cabin!

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Very peaceful and quiet. Easy to locate. We went to one of the locations he listed for breakfast and it was charming. Food was great and servings were huge. Our waitress was attentive and asked if we needed anything as she went past waiting on other tables. We've already recommended David's property to friends and relatives.

Great place to stay. It is a little ways off the main road, so I definitely recommend finding it in the daylight when first arriving. Little cell service while driving to and from the place, so be sure to have your map loaded before leaving. The surroundings were pretty and it was quiet. The king size bed and shets were super comfy! Would stay again!

River Run was more than I expected and all I could wish for. So much so that I had little desire to check out parks. Staying on the property filled my needs with the beautiful deck views, kayaks for river relaxation, books, games and videos for the rainy days. Karen’s place was tastefully decorated, every detail and amenity accounted for in abundance. The only addition I would ask for is screens for the glass enclosed porch so that I could have enjoyed the breezy nights from the comforts of indoors. Karen’s place is my new getaway!

The place was amazing, very clean, very well stocked, great location for outdoor enjoyment, pet friendly, super spacious, 3 huge bathrooms, slept 8 comfortably. The host was super helpful and responsive. This was our best Air bnb stay so far! We would definitely stay here again.

it was honestly out of this world. it was truly amazing especially in the morning when I woke up! the area was soo private and it just felt like I was in a place that you find far far way lol would recommend this to anyone wanting to be in there own lil space and environment

This place was fantastic for a group. Kitchen was well stocked with good utensils and cookware. The appliances were all very nice as well as the atmosphere. They note that it can be hard to find with GPS. this is true. Apple Maps and Waze WILL take you to the wrong place. Google Maps seemed to work perfect. Only comment id add is it’s seems you need to hit star * after typing the gate code. Great place if you want a remote escape.

Words do not say enough. The house itself is incredible only to be outdone by that view! I highly recommend getting a cup of coffee and taking a seat on the deck or what I call “the plant” room and watching the sun rise and make a plan to be back for the sunset. And be sure to open both doors at the same time at least once during your stay. The sound the cross winds bring forth from the wind chimes is such a beautiful melody. Peace. Serenity. Beauty. The perfect cabin in the perfect location! Truly the cleanest place with everything you need for a wonderful stay! Very comfortable bed and linens, and every kitchen utensil that you would need. Such an inviting and cozy place with beautiful views. Looking forward to returning!

I think it can be hard to find a great spot for a winter vacation. This was an incredibly cozy stay for a weekend of rest and rejuvenation. I love — love — that covered patio. It was a dream to curl up with cocoa & a book in that space while looking out at the river. The space is about a half hour drive from hiking, but it’s perfect for a restful vacation. I especially loved that you could clearly see the stars from the patio at night & there were no fireworks for New Year’s Eve in the area, which my nervous puppy was so grateful for. Would love to go back!

We had an incredible stay at Awesome Cacapon Camp! The location is absolutely stunning, nestled right by the river with breathtaking views. The property was spotless, cozy, and equipped with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing getaway. The host was amazing—so responsive and welcoming. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. The peaceful ambiance and proximity to nature made this the perfect escape. We can’t wait to come back and would recommend it to anyone looking for a serene retreat!

My husband and I stayed here with our dogs for our anniversary! The river is beautiful and clean. The house was perfect for a weekend get away and so quiet. It was perfect to unplug! We had so much fun with the old Nintendo games and original Disney movies instead of internet or WiFi. We didn’t want to leave!

We chose Maureen's property for our 21st wedding anniversary getaway. It was everything and more than described. Our communication with Maureen and Matthew was incredible. The property and its surroundings are peaceful and quiet. The view is spectacular. Our time in God's beautiful creation could not have been better. We experienced rainy days and sunshine. Beautiful sunrises and fog. Watching thunderstorms from the sunroom shed a whole new light on the event. And the nearly full moon on our last night there was the perfect ending to a wonderful week. The house had absolutely everything we needed and more. Did I mention the communication with Maureen and Matthew was incredible? We have nothing negative to say about the property, its owners, or our stay. It's quite evident that Maureen and Matthew have poured their hearts and souls into their property and we are so grateful that they shared it with us.

My wife and I can’t thank Alison enough for letting us stay at her beautiful home in celebration of our anniversary. The house was perfect for a relaxing getaway and had amazing views of the Cacapon River. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer place in the area, and a more gracious host! 5/5 stars

Cabin was easy to find, very well stocked kitchen. Lots of outside space to have a fire and the hot tub was amazing.

This place was absolutely AMAZING this was a trip we planned with our family with our 3rd and finale child and it couldn’t have been any better! We also brought our (2) 13 year old labs who of them we just found out has liver cancer and has a short amount of time left with us so this place was just what we need to enjoy our family and love on our old men a little extra! We will defiantly be back to this place!! You won’t regrets staying here! It’s absolutely amazing!!

My husband and I had the BEST weekend away in Augusta. Tony was a great host and the cabin was perfect. The cabin was cozy with breathtaking views. We can't wait to book again!

John and Jade's place was awesome! It was secluded and in a beautiful area. Wardensville was a quick drive away and had food and grocery options. They were responsive hosts and everything stated in the listing was exactly as described. Would definitely recommend for a weekend getaway!

We had an absolutely amazing stay! The place was cozy, clean, and filled with fun and thoughtful touches. We especially enjoyed the hot tub, relaxing around the campfire, and the fantastic gaming room—with a TV, card games, Zincho, mini table tennis, and so much more to keep us entertained. Every detail was perfectly planned to make the stay comfortable and memorable. Huge thanks to our wonderful host for the warm hospitality—this was truly a home away from home. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing and fun getaway!

The Mountain Aire cabin is absolutely wonderful- it feels rustic and cozy but has modern amenities (like the steam shower) and a lot of space. The house itself has plenty to keep a family busy, with darts, pool, board games, and the hot tub. We also enjoyed the hiking trail that was a short walk from the cabin, and spending time by the river. We would absolutely rent the cabin again (this time in warmer weather to take advantage of the splash pool and fantastic wrap around screened in porch).
