We had a lovely stay at Stephen&Bev's caravan. View from the room window is absolutely stunning and instantly puts a smile on a face. There is lots to do nearby. We've found plenty of sea glass at the beach. Hosts are lovely and very helpful! Caravan is modern, pristine clean, lots of plates, cups, pots. Everything is in great condition. We will definitely come back again!

Wow, just wow. I don't normally write reviews but I'm having to so that I can share just what a wonderful and reasonably priced property this is. There are genuine sea views from the living/dining room window and the flat itself is superb. We stayed as a couple so didn't use the spare bedroom or utilise the family bathroom properly but the main bedroom had tons of storage space, was well designed and loads of space. The ensuite was fantastic. We both loved the shower; so much better than the one at home. The kitchen was immaculate with Smeg kettle, toaster and fridge. All the utensils required for self catering seemed to be there and it was a more of less perfect small kitchen for our purposes. The living room was a great size and far too big for just two. It would definitely fit a family of 4 and the cuddle chair would go down a treat with most teen-agers who want to be left alone with their devices. Access was easy and the instructions idiot proof. Off street parking was great

Spotlessly clean property. Joan was a very responsive and friendly host. Tea, milk, biscuits and coffee were provided. Plenty of hot water. The neighbourhood was very quiet which allowed us to have a peaceful stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the Boiling House. The house has a lovely homely feel, was well equipped, and the beds were comfortable. David was a really welcoming host, giving us a quick tour of the house before leaving us to it. The bottle of Prosecco was a well appreciated touch! We'd love to return. Thank you David!

Lovely building. Plenty of space. Well decorated, uptodate-loved the master and kitchen. Very comfortable supportive beds. Downsides-no window covering in attic bedroom and some steep stairs with no handrail made it awkward for the children and upstairs WC very cosy but functional. Fab walks along the seafront/promenade. Beach 10 mins walk away-very big. Watch your step as dog poop galore-nothing to do with house owners but a shame. Walk the other way and great architecture and views across the working harbour. Host very communicative on a couple of slight issues. Recommended and hope to be back.

Had a lovely stay at the Old Watch House. Great views of the harbour. Staithes is a beautiful place. You do need to be fit to handle the hill out of the village and also paths around the village itself to get the best out of the area. Of the house itself it was everything we needed the only thing I would ask is that Clare considers replacing the sofas in the sitting room. Well used and quite uncomfortable after a short period of time in them. However the house was clean and well appointed. Bathrooms were lovely and clean and modern. We were very happy with the booking and house. We had a lovely family holiday with our teenage kids.

I was comfortable and felt safe in Ellen's house. Easy street parking. No outside noise nice and peaceful. Everything you need in an Airbnb. Excellent communication from Ellen she couldn't do enough. I'd book again for sure.

Lovely location. Lots of character in the house. Very homely and everything we needed for the weekend was available. The only real downside was the fact it had single glazing so felt a bit nippy at times and not all the electric heaters were possible to turn on at your own leisure or at least it wasn’t clear how to do it. However, the electric fire downstairs sufficiently heated the living room and kitchen and created a cosy atmosphere.

Thanks to Sarah for letting us stay. The place is so convenient for the beach and it was such a treat to have a house to retreat back to. Great communication from the host (we needed assistance working the heating). We hope to come back again!

Amazing and clean. Great location friendly host. No issues. Only thing I would suggest is checking with the host that the hot water is turned on. We waited 5 hours for a hot shower till the water went warm. After a long day of working we wanted to just get warm and shower. Once heated up it was perfect. Just something to consider asking the host to do before arrival which was a slight issue.

What a lovely flat great size for our family of four, nice and clean comfy beds nice living area and kitchen with everything you’ll need. The views from the living room looking onto the seafront are stunning with a very nice beach. Plenty of nice places to eat and drink out. Like a dummy I left my coat behind which Ivan as kindly said he’ll post on. Would definitely stay again. Thanks for a great stay Ivan.

A lovely little flat, full of character. The clear instructions and photos made it easy to get in. We felt right at home and slept very well in the very comfortable bed. Thank you for having us Deb.

Great location overlooking the beach, really nice kitchen / living space which makes the most of the fantastic view. We caught the train, apartment is an easy 15 minute walk from the metro station - walk the last bit through Roker Park, it's very pleasant.

Melanie’s place is fantastic. Such a brilliant location in Seaham for everything we wanted to do and what an amazing view of the sea out front! Everything we needed for our short stay was provided and Melanie’s instructions for accessing the building were clear and helpful. The 50% off breakfast offer at The Lamp Room is definitely something to take advantage of - the food was fantastic and even better at those prices! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

You will not get a better place to stay! This place has it all- I didn’t want to leave as it’s so special. We only live about 4 miles away but will definitely book as we loved seaburn and roker. I have so many ideas for my home - inspired from this apartment Truly stunning 😍

Fabulous apartment with beautiful sea views. Fantastic communication with our very welcoming host. We arrived to lots of special touches which helped us to feel at home from the start! Very comfortable accommodation. Private parking was a bonus. Would definitely book again!
