My family had a wonderful time here. It really felt like a home away from home. The space is super cute and cozy, with all the creature comforts -- good Wi-Fi, cable, comfortable sofa and beds, and everything you could possibly want or need in the kitchen, bathroom or on the patio. It's beautifully kept and immaculately clean inside and out. The tree-lined backyard and patio are massive and lush -- offering a beautiful country setting, perfect for watching the sunset. It's also super convenient, less than a 5-minute drive into downtown Picton, close to restaurants, shops, wineries, breweries and key sites in The County. Hosts Carol and Bentley are very welcoming, helpful and attentive. They provide free/unlimited access to Sandbanks as well as free drinks at a local winery. We highly recommend.

Our stay at Stoney Lake was nothing short of amazing, thanks to the incredible hospitality of Patti and Dennis. From the moment we arrived, they were exceptionally welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure our experience was perfect. The beauty of Stoney Lake left our family in awe, and Dennis was kind enough to give us a memorable boat tour, which we will cherish. The suite was impeccably designed, providing a relaxing atmosphere that truly felt like a home away from home. We made full use of the amenities, enjoying the fire pit, BBQ grill, and badminton net. The beach was beautifully maintained, and we couldn’t resist spending hours there, making the most of everything it had to offer.

Beautiful unit, very clean and spacious. Loved the ceiling height and heated bathroom floor. Our party was there for a wedding at Whispering Springs which is about a 5-minute walk to the main parking lot.

We really liked Jane and John's farmhouse, lots of space, nice surroundings of open fields and their presence just next door.

Victoria's place is what we expected & just what we needed for a relaxing romantic getaway. We felt very comfortable & homey, it was clean & she was very responsive & helpful before & during our stay. She accomodated us with a schedule change due to a massive ice storm so that we could fully enjoy the amenities during our stay. The firepit was definitely nice during a cool night. My one & only suggestion would be that the available firewood be covered or stored in a dry area as it was very wet due to the rain & previous storm & wasn't really usable. We bought some & figured it out with Victoria's help & was able to enjoy it. It was overall an amazing stay & we will definitely be back.

I love Sue's place! Every time I am visiting the area, this is my first place to check for availability. Sue has a lovely apartment located right next to Lock 18, which can be enjoyed privately from the large deck or up close just a few steps away. Hastiings is a friendly town that is wonderful to walk around (both sides of the bridge), checking out the shops, having coffee from the local cafes, and in the evenings heading across the street to McGillicafey's Pub. Sue's place is quite, centrally located, and comfortable. I am already looking forward to our next visit! Thank you Sue!!

Patti and Dennis were amazing ! There was a bad snow storm and they allowed us to stay an extra night, to hunker down through the storm to make sure we had everything we needed to stay comfortable and safe. So nice ! The suite was warm clean and had very comfortable beds. It was very quiet and peaceful. The view of stoney lake was beautiful. It was the perfect winter retreat/getaway . I highly recommend this Inn. Definitely a 5 star stay ! We are very happy and thankful to find this hidden gem 💎

Our stay at Zev’s was perfect and peaceful. Being just 12 mins outside of Picton it’s the perfect distance to feel like you’re in the countryside while still having easy access Picton and Bloomfield. We will definitely consider staying again, if it’s available, the next time we are visiting the county.

Brenda was the sweetest host I’ve had in a while. She was super responsive and helpful with any instructions or requests. If you’re looking for a detox getaway from the city bustle, this is the spot. Super comfortable home like interiors and peaceful scenic exteriors (forest bathing worthy) with a personal fire pit, packaged this getaway into the perfect one. Brenda even had a small breakfast prepped for our mornings. Can’t wait to experience this place in peak summer. PS: Her baked banana muffins are delicious.

I had such a great stay! The place is peaceful and has everything you’ll need. Check-in and out was so easy. Their instructions are clear and simple. The location is easy to find, a quick walk to the beach. The place was clean & comfortable. I could go on and I already want to go back! Highly recommend!!!!

We had a great night at hidden retreat! David was so welcoming, friendly and easy to communicate with. The rooms were great and the property is beautiful. We enjoyed time around the pool, using the hot tub and sitting around the fire at night. Highly recommend this hidden gem!

My fiancé and I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Drew's charming little apartment with a stunning lake view right from the bedroom — truly picture-perfect! What made our trip unforgettable, though, were the incredible hosts, Rupa and Kevin. They went above and beyond to help me set up a surprise proposal for my now-fiancé, even letting me decorate their space for the big moment. To top it all off, Kevin took us out for a magical boat ride — the views, the atmosphere, everything was just perfect. It was easily one of the most memorable nights of our lives. We’re beyond grateful for their warmth, generosity, and for making our special day feel truly extraordinary. We can’t wait to come back — hopefully for a longer stay next time! ❤️❤️❤️

Lovely stay at Paul's place. Everything as described. Peaceful country setting. We enjoyed using the Sandbanks Park Pass to walk the beach & climb the sand dunes. Oeno outdoor sculpture park was a great place to visit too. The weather was uncooperative for paddling during our stay - but looks like like a wonderful spot. Thanks for a great stay Paul!

Had a great stay at Torsten’s accommodation. Such a beautiful stay, very close to Picton Main Street. Torsten and Stacey were more than helpful and offered great recommendations for nearby restaurants and things to do. Exceptional stay made even better by being dog friendly. Will definitely be back… highly recommend!

One-of-a-kind weekend getaway at the Wind of the Willows. It is clear from the start that the basis of the location ties with the story as charted on the map. Lots of thought and effort were made beautifully into what it looks like when we visited. Thank you to our hosts, Ted and Christy, for hosting us. We undoubtedly wish to revisit when it gets warmer.

Great stay!

A great place to stay for a weekend in the County! We had the best time, 8 min walk into main st Picton! This place is perfect for friends or a couple, very spacious and clean and located right in the hub of the county, central to most wineries & other small towns. Would recommend and definitely stay here again the next time we are in PEC!

Great location in the heart of Picton. Very walkable to all the restaurants which are some of the best in PEC. Communication with the hosts made this a seamless stay. This was a perfect Valentine’s weekend given the snowstorm and the terrible weather, we had another memorable weekend in the county thanks to their hospitality. Can’t wait to return in the spring!

Our stay at Craig and Susan’s place was amazing! The cottage is beautiful and has everything you’d need. The kitchen was stocked, just bring your food and you’re set! The pool was warm and very enjoyable. The scenery was breathtaking and peaceful. Craig and Susan were very welcoming. They were amazing, kind and helpful hosts! The delicious welcome cookies and snacks were a beautiful touch. We will definitely be back!

Christian and MaryJo are super friendly and were truly excited to have guests enjoying their space. All of the info they shared about restaurants and beaches ahead of time was super helpful. Wonderful area to visit and exceptional hosts.

Host Shaunvir and co-host Sydney are the type of hosts we all hope to get when renting an Airbnb—thoughtful and highly responsive. The suite is on the lower level of a lovely home set high on a hill overlooking the Trent River. It includes a kitchen, dining area, living area, and bed all in the same space. While that may sound a little overwhelming, it is so uniquely designed that everything fits and works together beautifully. I found it super comfortable and efficient. The other two small rooms attached are the bathroom/shower and laundry room. All appliances and fixtures are top-of-the-line and smartly coordinated, with most of the fixtures in a sleek flat black finish. This Airbnb is possibly one of the nicest for its size that I have rented in the many years I’ve traveled using Airbnb. I highly recommend it.

Logement très tranquille, propre et paradisiaque toutefois quelques points a noter : Mauvaise insonorisation, les propriétaires vivent au dessus est on les entend marcher et faire vie jusqu’à leur coucher de 22h45 et réveil vers 7h Les instructions d’arrivée sont données 1H avant l’arrivée alors pour quelqu’un qui aime prévoir avant de conduire des heures dans un coin reculée ce n’est pas l’idéal Nous restions juste une nuit et j’ai trouvé la notification envoyée à 8h le matin pour nous rappeler de quitter pour 11h un peu intense. Un mot dans le livre d’accueil aurait été plus convivial ( ou même un message plus tard)
