It was a very nice secluded place. We had asked if we could check in early and they kindly let us. The place was spotless and very inviting.

Our weekend at this truly beautiful and magnificent location. John is a great host, really lovely and easy to chat to. We really enjoyed his stories and sharing how our stay was going. Our days were filled with beauty and magic, all the little touches made a huge difference. Sitting in the spa, wandering to the waterhole, lazing on the grounds, games by the fire and cooking dinner on the bbq. We wandered into bellingen markets and also explored viewpoints and walks. So stunning! It was absolutely the most perfect weekend away. Would love to go back! Thanks again John, many fond memories 🧡

We had great stay. Thankfull for the extreme good ramp they made for my wheelchair. Swimming pool and spa are a bonus the place needs. Trips to Port Macquairie and Kempsey.

The telegraph retreat is a beautiful piece of serenity. We stayed in The Croft cottage and enjoyed waking up to the sounds of birds and beautiful surrounds. The hot tub on the porch is an added bonus for max relaxation. We also took a walk around the property and fed the goats. I would recommend this venue. Ned and Christine were lovely.

Great place to relax and unwind with complete privacy! Outdoor bath is unreal to star gaze or watch the setting sun from! Plenty of space to play some lawn games, enjoy the peaceful nature outlook and even have a dip in the creek! Comfortable unit with full kitchen which I always appreciate! Agnes it was a delight and you’re a wonderful host, thank you!

We stayed at Ned’s place for a night on our way up to Byron bay with our toddler and doggie it was a great half way spot from Sydney and easy location close to the main road yet far enough to feel like a country get-away. We were greeted by two lovely doggies and our dog was instantly excited. We also visited the goats and ducks they were very friendly and tame. Our toddler really enjoyed seeing the animals and running around in the farm land. The house was cozy and had everything we needed. Except a high chair. We took our own travel cot but also kindly got offered to borrow one. I would highly recommend this for a night or two if you are looking for a peaceful country stay.

My short stay at Mike and Christine’s Firefly Cottage was great! Mike was very easy to communicate with and friendly. We loved the pool table and darts within the cottage and access to the pool and tennis court was a nice inclusion. Note: Wi-Fi and mobile data coverage was not the best during our stay, but this may have been to recent poor weather and other factors. Mike did try to help out where he could. We unfortunately could not get the Apple TV to work. We loved the area and how relaxing it was, with some minor road noise from cars passing along the road (infrequent). The inclusion of a bottle of wine and food staples were appreciated. The new indoor wood heater and outdoor Chiminea worked great and kept us warm! A short 15 minute drive to Nabiac was convenient for food shopping etc. Thanks Mike!

The property is beautiful and so peaceful! We very much enjoyed the atmosphere even in heavy rains we were nice and cosy looking out at the rain on the river!

It was a perfect stopover on our round trip. Definitely worth coming back to explore more when it is not a rainy day. Thank you Michelle and Kim.

Had a fabulous weekend at Lisa's place. Surroundings were stunning despite the rain. The outdoor bath was the star, watching the mist roll in over the hills. Hard to describe how magical the cottage is. If you are looking for a peaceful weekend, off the beaten track but also close to local amenities, cafes and restaurants this is one for you

Had a lovely stay at the Cottage. Comfy bed in well appointed and spacious surrounds and truly welcoming for our fur baby.

The second time we've stayed in this beautiful location . This Airbnb is truly amazing . The peace and quiet and the private location . The cottage is homely and spotless and we enjoyed making a home made meal for Easter and the cottage had all the necessary kitchenware . We love this place and can't wait to come back ❤️

We were not able to stay at Anna’s due to the cyclone. She was very great at communicating with updates and was very flexible options for rebooking.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Airbnb! From the moment I arrived, the host was incredibly welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed. They went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable, offering great recommendations for local spots and checking in to make sure all was well. The property itself was stunning! It was beautifully decorated, clean, and had all the amenities I could have asked for. The space was both cosy and stylish, with plenty of room to relax and unwind. It truly felt like a home away from home. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with a fantastic host and a lovely property. Will definitely return!

The cottage is very cute and cosy. The host clearly loves her garden which makes a lovely outlook, and the neighbourhood is very quiet. It’s a short drive to all the beaches in Valla and the two cafes. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom clean. The bed was very comfortable and the linen fresh and crisp. The house is full of little friendly touches which add personality. It was a great base for visiting family who live nearby and enjoying the beautiful beaches of Valla. A very pleasant place to stay.

Milo's Cottage is such a lovely place to stay. The location was ohh soo peaceful + private and the serenity just made the long weekend away from Sydney so much more enjoyable for myself and the kids. It was really nice to be able to sit out on the deck to admire the view. Even had a friendly kangaroo + baby roo come to visit us which was such a wonderful addition to an already great experience. Milo's cottage is very spacious, clean and had everything needed for a comfortable, cozy, relaxing stay and the place smelt amazing. Milo was kind enough to get in touch to see if we needed our clothes popped into her dryer due to the on-going wet weather we were experiencing which I felt was very kind of her. She also had some wine, cheese, salami and crackers to enjoy on arrival which was very thoughtful and appreciated. Overall we had a very enjoyable break away and would most certainly visit again - I highly recommend. Thank you for going above and beyond, it really was a pleasure.

We had an exquisite few days at Rosemary Cottage. Suzette was a fabulous host and was highly responsive which is always appreciated. We felt as if we’d been transported into a French villa during our stay. The cottage is beautifully furnished with everything you could possibly want for a relaxing stay. Beautiful linens in the bedrooms and the bathroom and laundry fixtures were excellent! Tastefully decorated throughout! There was nothing spared including a well stocked pantry with all essentials and spare provisions which you don’t always see in Air BnBs. So many spaces to sit and enjoy the ambience of a beautifully maintained cottage garden. And only a 5 minute walk up the lane way to the Main Street which has so many gorgeous coffee spots and eclectic shops with the Bello character. We will return hopefully for a much longer stay!

We loved Sam’s place! The home is very charming- tastefully renovated, clean, spacious for our family of 4. The view from the deck over the paddocks is spectacular. Sam and his wife were extremely friendly and welcoming- they arranged laundry detergent as soon as we asked for it, showed us around their place, and introduced us to their cows, guineapigs, dogs and chicken. Overall a five star experience, highly recommended!

Top spot! Minutes to town but feels like your miles away. Peaceful and secluded. Very comfortable cabin. Heaps of room for kids to roam wild in nature. Next time need to stay for longer! Thanks.

Absolutely gorgeous property! We met Rob who showed us how to use the super cool lock that speaks to you and showed us around. He was super helpful and informative. When the wifi went down he and Lynn were super helpful and got it fixed straight away. The place is so unique and beautiful, we didn’t want to leave! The kitchen had everything we needed. There was a variety of snacks, plus milk and juice and a jug of cold water in the fridge. And also wine! We enjoyed playing go fish with the mini cards and our ‘homework’ decorating our board, it was so much fun. Definitely our best Airbnb experience and can’t wait to book again in the future!

A beautiful, eco friendly cottage at Ashleigh & Jarrods sustainable property just outside Wingham. The cottage has a beautiful outlook and surrounding garden, and has everything you need for a short term getaway. Getting to the cottage and self check-in was easy and clearly instructed. Ashleigh and Jarrod are very responsive and great hosts (they even left some farm fresh eggs for us on arrival), they are close by and there if you need them, but the cottage is still very private. A welcome bonus was a visit from their dog Pudding, who was the most beautiful and well behaved dog. It was great to experience a sustainably constructed home, and it was a wonderful, comfortable and cozy place to stay after a long weekend of camping at a nearby national park.

Fantastic Place. Loved absolutely everything. Huge bonus that we could have our beloved doggo with us. The pool and Tennis court were well used by us as was the back verandah where we ate, played games and just chilled. Will definitely be booking again in the future.
